So CNN is reporting that the mechanic who sabotage the plane had ISIS video(s) on his phone. This apparently came out in court today.
And there are those (even in this forum) that were upset because of his last name the thought of terrorism was brought up. Whether that was his intent or not, in today's world, assuming can be a safer option than being politically correct!

AMFA is facing a crippling fine and if the airline gets a permanent Permanent Injunction, then this may have been their last fight.

Your corner man did a bad job in protecting the fighter, letting him get hit over and over.

The outcome with that legal case could also negatively impact current legal issues with the Association, as well.
I wonder why southwest doesnt let it go,doesn't just move on?

In the latest Crew News, Parker told pilots their proposal included industry leading pay rates and matched the Delta profit sharing plan.

If Association gets the same deal in exchange for the Scope language, does that close the deal?

They're trying to get something that would prevent another job action in subsequent negotiations or at least have a quicker path towards consequences rather than going through the court process.

Don't know if AMFA has $20M laying around so it'll be interesting how this unfolds. Could have industry wide consequences.
