Actually, as far as officer elections, i have fared better than 99% of all other non incumbant opponents. The record is phenomenal. But, at the end of the day, they have the counting and absentees that arent numbered.
I am actually pretty proud of the elections that helped force issues.
However, im done with the iam so i doubt any challenger slate could ever get remotely close to my accomplishments.
There is a reason why the GL changed voting hours. I had 65% per capita and would have won IP fairly easily, but the constitutional adjustments by the GL preserved their plan.
I get it! I exhausted it all, and for that im grateful.

All Southwest did was pay you with the money they saved by making you wait the years it took to give you a contract. Do the math. Unless you get full retro all the way back to when your contract ended. You still lost. This is why I call most of you idiots. I have been in negotiations and I am telling you what none of the drunken presidents won’t tell you. It’s all bullshit. The longer it takes the more of your money they get to spend eating and drinking off your dime. They also spend many nights at the stripclubs. None of you take the time to go through the expense reports. Well I did and that is how we got rid of old jack baitmen back in the day. Also ask people in Miami about Eddie Surez expenses. We did get full retro and then some. Interest and compounding was also added in for the real retro numbers as well. Plus we received 14.5 Million more than full retro including the interest and compounding. Hence the overwhelming 96% yes vote from the membership. On top of all that we also saved 100% of scope in article 2, added some headcount as well as SWA will be hiring mechanics in 2019, which they have already started that process in the 2nd half of 2018. Now you do the math sir.
A 62K retroactive bonus payout for mechanics in our industry is just unheard of as some anylist have already pointed out. Plus we still have not received our 2nd retroactive bonus payout as of yet, somewhere in the hood of 5K-10K depending on how much O/T we all worked. Also coming in Aug along with that 2nd retroactive payment will be our yearly annual raises of 3% for a grand total of 23% jump in pay for the year 2019, another unheard of jump for one year increases. UPS came the closest at 16.8% jump for their one year increases. And BTW Stupid, none of these included our bumps in shift diffs, longevity, and lic. prems. increases we also got on top of our yearly % increases that comes to about 1.5%. There is more increases we got but not going into them as of now. Very proud of our new contract and the final results, just not happy that it took 6 years plus to get er done. But, that what it took to save our scope and get full retro plus some.
Now lets see what this pathetic asso. gets for you, then we shall compare some more real numbers. I hope your mechanics top us. I just hope they won't have to pay for it with a huge scope change, some would be expected, but not huge...
