Is this the soft sell, where the membership gets blamed for the association's failings? Its not like we got to vote on represetation.

Someone is going to get blamed.

To note, one of the Association arguments in their submissions for Monday's hearing is they can't be held responsible if some mechanics acted on their own.

Not a bad gig if you can get it. Force yourself (the association) on the membership, then deny your responsibility. And you wonder why?

Not going to hold water because the association is our representative and they charge us to do a job. Basically they are our handlers or parents if you will. The courts and company have a better way of resolving this by going for the top guys in control. Like baseball, fire the manager not the players only exception is we can't fore these clowns.

Of course it won't hold water.

The Association had been in denial this entire process.

The Company was setting them up ever since they invited the NMB to join the talks before Section 6. In normal times it would take much longer than 9 months to reach this point in the process.

This is where the Company wanted to be and they got the added bonus of this injunction.

It's ridiculous they didn't see any of this coming. Absolutely ridiculous.

After Samuelson lost his cool in LGA blaming the mechanics will be a real hard sell. His rant set the stage for the legal actions. I think his actions are going to bite him in the ass with this legal situation.

The Association has just not been a cohesive unit at any point. Wonder how they will handle a hefty fine from the legal action. Maybe the IAM will tell the TWU to pay it since Samuelson had the meltdown and the IAM was absent, as usual. What an Association.

Think that was for our benefit to set the stage for a vote no recommendation. That's more likely if everyone is pissed off and thinks we're going to fight.

The stage was already set for the injunction by that time.

Company isn't asking for loses, yet.
