American Airlines and Labor Negotiations

This blog site is nowhere near what it once was anyway. It’s become nothing more than a conduit for people to ***** and moan about pretty much anything they can think of. The owner is some guy who lives in Oklahoma who has no interaction here and likely only keeps it and others running to collect the checks that some minor ad revenue brings in.

Thanks to Facebook most Blog sites are extremely low revenue generators.

But I’m sure the owner will continue to let this thing sputter along just like MySpace is still out there too.
This site has made you look like an ass just like it has all the other Association supporters. Now instead of trying to be a man and taking your childish memes and videos and going away, you are asking the operator(s) of this site to ban you. Your true colors are so apparent, and they are just like I and everyone has stated...pathetic. You and 700 are two peas in a pod, and I have no doubt in my mind that if you were banned, you would find a way to sneak back in just like your pal. Go away, the more you post, the more ignorant you look.

Oh and by the way, AA already knows who I am too. I'm Ken. I'm broke. I'm fat, smelly and never wash my uniforms...did I get it right Dave, that's how you described me...now don't commit "expulsion by moderator", be a man and go away on your own...

They just subpoena the IP addresses of the posts they want. It’s been done before.

this is where i get lost.

ok..so this poster is someone who is an IAM negotiator. the poster is clear who he is, no need to get IP addresses.

as long as the assoc. doesn't come out with official statements/documentation to slow-down, refuse ot, bully/harass those that go on mntx. field trips..etc...i believe the assoc. can distance itself from his comments that are fueled by anger/frustration.

just like the aa supervisor who attempted to bully an AMT on video...the company distanced itself from those comments & actions. they are not representative of aa's stance on maintenance and AMTs. so, the assoc. can also state that the comments made by a poster, are not representative of the assoc.'s commitment to negotiations.

as far as samuelsen and isom...that's a different story.

i've read much worse on the company's website.

- parker is a slob.
- parker/isom should be fired by the BOD
- vasu is an idiot who uses foul language, should get fired.
- top execs. greedily lining their pockets with stock..

etc...etc.

do i believe parker & isom are dummies? no. do i believe that they refuse to let go all of the LLC philosophies that guided aw? yes.

to me, that's an issue attempting to optimally run the world's largest airline.

Oh yea shut down this aviation site that covers all areas of aviation including American airlines. Wow, that's an incredible thought without considering the 1,000's of others who could care less about what's happening at American airlines.
Glad we have moderators who have the authority to enforce the rules when violations occur. Especially personal attacks that include profanity and posts that cross over to liable repercussions. After the hearing come July we will see if negotiations resume. If a fine is imposed then we might see movement in negotiations.

1000’s of others???? Where? I don’t think this site has more than a dozen regular posters.

And the Moderators don’t care about the profanity as long as it’s directed at only certain posters.

This post will be removed because it’s a fact.

Another unsolicited attack hurled at me. You just made my point.

ridiculous. Stop the insanity. Didn't you realize that the company would use this crap in a district court? I'm glad it did because I want you and other IAM Officers to be more professional. This company isn't going to sit across a table from your handlers when you and other negotiation committee members are talking smack about destroying our company. Would you sit across from someone who talked to you that way? NOPE. In the meantime, 32,000 human beings go without pay raises and benefit increases because you and other $155,000 salary IAM Officers are being unprofessional. STOP IT!

Stop this madness! Move on some issues. The company proposal is industry leading as is, but if you kooks stop the madness, you should be able to finish the work and get some improvements like a medical cap, and maybe IAH and RSW, and a bit more wage. Stop threatening a healthy company, move off of some ridiculous issues and we will have a deal. Stop putting dues ahead of me and others you are representing. You gotta get off your high horse and do better math. You aren't going to get 20 more stations, for 63 total. NOT HAPPENING! Stop thinking about those 2,500 additional members but focus on the ones you already are paid to represent. Scrap the whole 20 more station crap and you might get IAH and RSW. You might get a cap on medical. We might get a wage bump.
That's about it. Otherwise, you guys did amazingly good on the other 40 items which all were improved upon.

Yes while some here claim many of us want the money it’s true because when we are in the good times we should take advantage of it. I want to see the union forget the pension let go of the larger scope demands that is primary for future dues members and ask for a higher beginning wage larger signing bonus and take the other gains of holidays and diff pay and move forward. If we get pushed back or put on ice I will make a bet those gains will be off the table and we will be going on 5 or more years with no wage increases. How can our so called union leaders think that’s better then what’s out there now is beyond me

I hear ya; I was just saying how it could be done (and has been done before).

And it doesn’t usually stop with just an IP address for a post here. The next step is to try and subpoena laptops and/ or other devices.

That’s been done before too...

With July 4th around the corner im guessing for us LUS itll be straight time pay whether we work it or off or vacation?? Nvr heard if it'd be like memorial day.

Void Of Reason
It ain't all about you!

Yep your right it’s not but it should be about the 30000 of us who have to gain with a deal, instead our negotiators are more concerned about those not even on the property claiming this somehow will make things worse in the future.
They have no idea what the future holds anymore than I do,
but I’ve been through this far to many times and nothing ever improves to the point they promise by waiting it out what the union wants. All it ever does is cost us money the longer we wait

There an article in forbes or yahoo that says AA wants to get rid of 1550 rampers n 2200 mechanics thru retirement attractions or buyout. Then be replaced by low waged contractors. I sure hope that doesn't happen

so, hearsay and unknown sources are legit? i know that corporate america has rearranged the rules against labor, but to this extent?

i'd argue that some posters who throw bags care more about the company and offer better solutions than 6-7 figure big-shots at HQ.

low level management is abysmal-brutal. level 3 CSMs having no clue - and when told by union members what to do, ignore what they need to do to facilitate a reliable operation, but they can tell you how many sugars the new good-looking CARs agent wants in her coffee.

total $****-show.

No, Crema. What they will establish with the quotes is how the words used by the Association or their Representatives were interpreted by those that post on these sites, of which most have a long history. It will help to show that the words used were actually taken as a sign or interpreted to mean a job action or slowdown.

It is another layer of the evidence they will present on Monday, which includes those quotes, and will help them establish their position. This process has a much lower standard than a criminal court or even a civil court. As it stands, the Judge has already indicated the probability of the the Company winning the injunction.

Congratulation those who had their quotes trolled by the Company to use in their arguments for the injunction on Monday.

ATD, GVPSPIAM, Kev3188, AA-MRO, Wrencher, Slopoke, We're Screwed and You Can Fix Stupid all had one of their quotes included in the Company submission.

Robbed Again, Charlie Brown (Yikes), 1986 Mekanic, Metal Mover and ALUS78 all had 2 quotes included in the Company submission. (to be fair, the ALUS78 quotes were about responses he received to his posts)

B737, Rogallo, Matt1200 and DFWGEN all had 4 quotes included in the Company submission.

SWAMT had 6 quotes included in the Company submission.

But the absolute king of quotes is our very own poster who keeps warning everyone how these sites are monitored...with 10 quotes, our winner is WeAAsles.

In this case the mechanics may be correct in saying Fleet screwed you again. o_O

If the Judge rules in favor, then the company can start firing some of these posters, right? And I know, from being disciplined myself with a termination letter from comments on social media that the company alleged I made on an old prodigy site, they used IP addresses and other testimony and subpoenaed but I ended up doing 18 months on step 3.
Also, my 'gut feeling' is that there are many text messages floating around that confirm some of these posters, wonder if the company will find any of those?
I don't think some of these guys are out of the woods. But even though they have destroyed our talks, I still wish them fairness.

Don't think discipline will come into play unless the alleged activities continue past any injunction placed on the Association.
