" DWH hangar and ramp space is not the property of the OH mechs at DWH" Really? Now that is about the most absurd thing I have read. No, I am most certainly not a union rep. Never have been, never will be.

You are a mechanic, AA doesn’t rent that ramp for you. AA pays you (that makes you labor) to repair aircraft with the training they provided to you.

The TWU organizing machine is in full swing.

Under this new leadership, the Transport Workers Union has just won our 20th new worker organizing drive. We continue to grow and thrive across the entire transport sector. Since 2017, our membership has increased from 137,000 to 151,000.

The TWU is by far the fastest growing union in the country. Our most recent victory came on June 6, when Envoy Air Pilot Simulator Instructors voted unanimously to join our union. We’ve secured organizing wins with the following workgroups:

  • JetBlue Airway InFlight Crewmembers
  • Spirit Airlines Customer Service Agents
  • PSA Airlines Dispatcher Coordinators
  • Kalitta Air Cargo Dispatchers
  • Envoy Air Pilot Ground Simulator Instructors
  • San Francisco Bike Share
  • Washington, DC Big Bus Workers
  • New York City Big Bus Workers
  • Miami Big Bus Workers
  • Las Vegas Big Bus
  • Chicago Big Bus
  • Los Angeles Big Bus
  • San Francisco Big Bus
  • Phoenix-Mesa-Temple Arizona Bike Share Workers
  • Cleveland, Ohio Bike Share Workers
  • SP Plus Transportation Ferry Bus Drivers
  • SP Plus Transportation Shuttle Bus Drivers
  • Bronx, NY Quality Schoolbus Company Drivers
  • NYC Mt. Sinai Hospital Network Shuttle Drivers
  • NYC MTA Bus White Collar Unit
  • NYC MTA Staff Analysts
Thank you to our organizing teams! Thank you to the workers who stepped up to fight back against the bosses and take action to improve the economic security of your families.

It is the goal of our leadership to demonstrate every day that we are America’s Fighting Democratic Union!

In Solidarity,
John Samuelsen
International President

What have you done for us lately

Well based on the two emails today from the Association it looks like there a bit worried they are going to loose in court and well once that happens wonder who will get the blame then.
Get your popcorn ready this is going to be fun to watch the spin coming out from the union

They also said the same thing about building cleaners. At NWA the company proposed pretty much the same thing in their now infamous contract offer to the AMFA membership. They were a little more ruthless back then - going after the "and relateds" back then. At least with us it would be through attrition only. No union is going to be able to dictate to the company future headcount on an issue like this. It's pissing up a rope.
We have sacrificed enough for the company, and the union.
So it comes down to, would we rather get a deal done now that takes care of the "current dues payers" at least once in our careers, or worry about future headcount, and if a nite shift guy makes day shift a little sooner? I talk to nite shift guys every morning - they want a deal ASAP.

BTW, Gary has told us what the company positions are, we expect that from them.
It seems that the unborn are just as or more important than the current! (Dues, that is!)

Best info this week! Stick it to this union and bankrupt The Worst Union and the Ill Ask Management. Shut'em down! Love it!
They refuse to allow anyone to vote so F'em!
Best news of the day!

Tim if the company brings the video of the LGA townhall will they have a problem convincing judge.Did our leaders get played?? Anything monetary will come out of whos treasury??
YES thank God!
Company will force a vote, and 99% will vote yes in fleet or company will bankrupt the union.
The young and inexperienced Samuelson had no idea about the RLA. Peterson knows but he doesnt mind playing with the union treasury in his quest to knock out Isom for not hiring him in management.
