The Association has now decided to discontinue and refrain from any further communications with nitwits, knuckleheads, dimwits, goofballs, ignoramuses, malcontents and any other assorted groups of deplorable baskets of mentally challenged rock throwers.

It’s not a super long list but it is still fairly lengthy unfortunately.
Damn it! That shoe fits. I've eaten s**t for 30 years. What's a few more.

Is this same type of language in all contracts? I know our tech crew chief instructors go to out stations and train FSCs to run APUs talk on radios brake ride and tow airplanes on taxiways. And that was over 15 years ago.

That was the Company proposal but we do have Aircraft movement in our current CBA in Fleet too. The Company has tried to transfer it over to us and so far it hasn’t gone over well.

Dude, I'm talking about class ones with move crews. Do you not understand that's around 600 jobs?

I just want to make sure I know what your position is.. Your ok with the company migrating a big portion of 600 amt jobs with good shifts and days off at 50+ an hour to fleet at class ones that currently have move crews?

Sure, I would like to keep it, it's easy and it's a lot of headcount plus easy OT, I think it's a red haring though, as AA could have the ramp do it now, but don't or can't....

I know what you're asking, I was just sure that language has always been in the contract,

If AA wanted to have ramp do it, FSCs would be doing it.

Thing is they want you to work on them not move them it really doesnt take skill.Over at JFK they have vendors that you wouldnt think could pass the background check moving 380s and those are big suckers

Dude im throwin the bull **** flag! Would you like me to pull your previous posts where " mechanics should do mechanics work, let fleet do the moves" you sure do flip flop a lot.

You think it requires no skill to safely run and taxi a $200 million 200k lb 787 or any other aircraft ex 777 300 aircraft around a crowded ramp and across busy runways while taking detailed instructions from FAA tower controllers and be prepared to execute emergency procedures if necessary?

Perhaps you should think again about what your saying..

Here in Clt fleet handles gate to hardstand moves( no taxiways) and mx handles the rest with goldhofer ( mostly hanger to gate across taxiways) they do all taxiways
