i've been talking about that on jetnet and in here, i guess i talk to myself? you should have challenged me immediately..it's on jetnet.

Ok I know which one you’re talking about but I’m not finding a link to it any more? Like I said I don’t recall the Company making the claim that the Association has backed off talks about PS and if they get out that side by side comparison they hopefully will make that clear.

I do still see this as the Company’s proposal though.

Ok I found it. The first column is what the Association is asking for and the Company is the one that put it out there. (It was hard to find again)

Ok I see what you’re talking about. It’s confusing? On the one hand to the left the Company says that the Association wants an Industry leading PS plan. And then on the right the Company claims that the Association has dropped the idea of the Delta PS plan?

While I know that the Association has NOT ended discussions on anything at all concerning wages, the Company likes to be confusing apparently?

Remember Crema Gary Peterson said that all the open Articles and their proposals are “Working Documents” That means just because an idea was mentioned doesn’t mean it’s set in stone or TA’d yet. Seems like the Company may like putting the cart before the Horse?

Believe it or not I actually missed that part where the Company put that out. I’m not even sure I know what that means and why Delta is singled out?

It could be simply because Delta groups have no Union and no Contracts and I know that the Association if it agrees to a Profit Sharing Plan wants it put in writing like exists at UAL and SWA.

i have no problem with that. i'd also rather have the guaranteed wage(s).

3% more than dl on DOS and 2% a year doesn't cut it for me..i have a problem with that, especially if we agree not to go after their precious profits. what the company is proposing is not a premium over dl and certainly not over ua, who's AMTs, ramp and ticket agents got 2.8% of their wages in profit sharing.

throw in the very nice late wage sweetener for AMTs and an additional $3k more for all lus assoc. members..i have a big problem with that...especially with the twu part of the assoc. if that nonsense ever comes to vote.

there is absolutely NOTHING for laa fleet. nothing.

Don’t worry. The Company’s wage proposal doesn’t cut it with the Association guys either. But wages usually come as the dead last item to be signed off on anyway.

Until Scope and the other open items are settled I think we got a ways to go before the guys are going to focus in on those pressing wage talks.

But you did hear what Tom Regan said in those videos anyway.
 
absolutely. $3k signing bonus for guys with 35 years or 3.5 months is a joke.

i brought up the additional $3k the company wants to give all lus assoc. members, for the pain of transitioning to my insurance. so painful, that the leaders of our company will give them an additional year on their cheaper/superior insurance.

so, if the company had it it's way, lus gets $6k, laa gets $3k...and lus gets an additional year of their insurance.

bananas for laa fleet service.

lots of lottery winners with this merger, find me a laa guy that's holding a winning ticket. lucky tickets say piedmont, america west and us air on them.



I’m LUS and don’t even agree with additional 3000 for us I think the bonus should be 5000 for all if not 6000, especially if they only offer 2.1 percent wages in the first year
And no I don’t care if our insurance cost go up because it’s just way things go I know how to manage my household just fine

The current offer for Fleet is 3% above the last known Delta rate and 2% per year on a 5 year deal with no industry resets.

For Maintenance that can be compared it sounds like the Company is willing to match the newly inked SWA wages with also 2% per year on a 5 year deal with no industry resets.

And if you are on any of the single LUS plans I can understand why you would have no issue with your Medical rates rising as your wages (Particularly if you’re an AMT) will more than offset that cost difference.

If you’re under the Family plans the rates to go LAA become substantially more.

And to reiterate the bigger issue on the Medical is regarding the Company’s refusal to allow the Association to be able to audit the Medical expenditures and Cap some of those costs if they go up.

With the Company having a free pass on that Medical it’s very easy for them to put in one pocket while taking out of the other.

Im resentful that the company wants concessions and then goes out and hires an obscene amount of managers im resentful that i have to wait in line behind a contract employee for ice cream on AA employee appreciation day and that the company supplies half the airport with safety gear cause they cant manage supplies.im resentful that a manager walks past me with a case of water for a contractor.and then complains the water bill is to high.How about the contractor using our contract deicers to work the ramp for other airlines when there is no snow yet AA wants concessions from me. Nah Ill wait

Here’s one of those many obscene amount of “Watchers” that the Company hires that we can’t get to stay the hell off our gate and stop annoying us. His name is Carlos. He’s a freakin nervous wreck.

I hope I’m wrong though of course.
Its been building and witnessing incompetence every day has me turn.why are you suprised i told you it was personal its still about me.I have alot of other peeves but i dont want to get anyone in trouble.
