Sorry that’s a $1000 for every union guy. Do you even work for AA? Sounds like you’re more concerned with union revenue

Send any weakling you want over to gate D42 in MIA right now. I’m the tall guy in the white AA shirt.

Hey, about the LUS go negotiate their own contract and the TWU negotiate theirs. Lets just keep two separate unions. This strength in numbers doesn't seem to be carrying too much weight.

Stop deflecting. What I asked you was VERY simple and straightforward.

And if it ain’t gonna ever happen here then you’re all (WE) are one pretty pathetic bunch of losers.
Sorry, WeAAz. It's not going to happen. Too many contented people.

Not a bad idea. Not to say we could get a deal done easily being separate, but the 2 different deals appear to make it really difficult. This mgmt team do not seem to care about employees on the ground. They've had a history of taking bankrupt carriers and using it to their advantage. They needed us before to get a deal and then they needed us to work each others metal. They don't seem to need us now.

Well maybe we need to be put on ice for a few years then to get all the dogs a little hungry?

A hungry dog has a little bite in him.

Not like the little puppies we have right now I guess.

Good job building solidarity.

Calm down, Karen.

Says the guy that literally just posted “F LUS.”
I.want to bombard them with informational picketing and leaflets.Where did they store the signs

I don’t ever want to read ANY of you guys say how the guys (TWU) of the past screwed you. You’re all FOS cause here you are today ready to keep the screwing going right on down the line.

The difference is, the 83 guys voted themselves a pay raise and doomed everybody else to lower pay working for same company. Our union decided to go from 5 to 8 year top out without membership approval.

We after a 16 year concessionary contract would like a very nice contract and some would like to retire with a nice bonus after a decade plus concession.

Like in 83 the industry is again changing. Unfortunately the 83 b scale was neccesary for all the airlines to grow after a tight economy deregulation, and the Lise of the LCC. Now we are dealing with outsourcing, our association is worried about future positions, there will be less positions but at highest pay. AA will still be the lowest outsourced airline with highest pay.

Unfortunately the normal standards of the 40s - 2005 of every airline doing their own everything is no more.

And lighten up Francis, not one executive from either LUS or LAA came down asked our opinion on the merger.

Also stay off the forum so much, you sitting around on the internet and the bags not being unloaded is giving all unions a bad name. Miami is the worst for waiting for your luggage to come out, I think we just figured out why.

Bottom line if we want a contract we're going to have to give something up.Thats it

BTW Metal come clean right here, right now. In the end after all that big pushing did AMFA come out ahead at SWA?

Did they get Management to back off their demands?
Yes, because they wanted to gut our scope for the first 5 years. Then it got down to economics.
