Here it is: no station closing. Everything stays . Mgmt get laid off . No packages . Employees happy .

tim nelson you havent become one of those big union guys that lie to the masses have you? refuse to answer questions? come on tim what does the fly on the wall say? dont hold out like the big guys you deplore.

You have a better chance getting a captain line on a 787 than that out of him.
Glad you see him for what he is though

No. Not a fan of Facebook.

Ok just sayin that Forums then is a terrible place to gauge the pulse of the Membership. I don’t think there’s even a half dozen LAA Fleet people on here.

The Jetnet comments aren’t a bad gauge but you have to get passed the Bully posters who just swarm the threads with non stop babble to get the real count.

I wonder if anyone realized that the CBA they signed off on would not only hose UAL people, but also put pressure on labor at other carriers-including their own members at AA?

Kinda myopic, tbh.

I’ve seen this a lot. Is this true?
Baskett endorsed it and approved it on the eboard and said on here that he did so because Sito said it would have nothing to do with AA.
Look, im not saying baskett has a low IQ, it is just that we have people in there that are incredibly uneducated, not their own man, and dont understand casework and research.
Weez initially agreed with me about united when he was calling me nonstop asking for a job if I win in an election but then flipped on me when I didnt offer or win as lehive offered him a fll jetblue gig.
These guys are all on the take. All about $$
That said, nobody was ever as lazy as 700. He approved a contract that actually contracted out his own job. The dope was pushing the ta but then realized he was confused and pushed a rejection but it was too late.

Tim, tim. Tim your holding out. Wheres our proposal? You are in charge you promised a contract in 30 minutes. I put you in charge and have heard nothing! What does the fly on the wall say? Come on tim its time to put out or get out.

Why do you keep lying to people? Money got your tongue? You know damn well that the company hasnt offered to lay off thousands and eliminate bagroom and abr. You know thats bs.
Why do you lie about how members from the past sacrificed for future employees? Tell me one time in our 34 years when our group sacrificed our families for future employees? One time?
You cant! You recommended contracts that took care of your arse in clt and F all outlying stations with $15. Right or wrong?
You recommended hosing current employees, never mind future ones. Even 4 years ago you recommended F 22 United stations and thousands of current employees.
So save your anti union BS when you are worried about your own union job. You are worse than Crowell. You havent done a damn thing other than kiss management ass and you refuse to arbitrate or enforce what we already have.
Everyone told me that Fairbanks controlled you but I disagreed. I was wrong.
What a useless pitiful company man you have become.
You should be advocating consent from the members but, unlike me, you arent your own man. Keep your filthy money, you have become worse than parker.
And as far as clt, I have plenty of friends there and would cornhole you in a breakroom.
Your a corporate punk that id love to box and knock the F out of in the ring.
Holy crap dude. Are you on meds? Where did this come from?? CB just wished that you would have shown up for the picketing is all. He even welcomed you to the next one, even after you went off on him.

There are 900 Utility on lay-off and probably about 1,000 - 2,000 mechanics at LUS on lay-off who have lifetime recall rights. With gaining the TWU scope it will bring work back in-house. The backshops on the second and third floor in the CLT Hangar have been closed and outsourced for over a decade. Of course the LUS aside wants to bring work back.

Say it with me:

The TWU has better negotiators that produce better agreements for their members than the IAM

Josh

Guess you forgot Weez’s post where they offered Envoy 18% cost while LAA is paying 21% and IAM LUS is paying 15%. Writing is on the wall.

Well it’s going to be a long hot summer, AA is not in bankruptcy they don’t get what they want. You all have been beaten down so much, time to get over the Stockholm Syndrome and the Concessionary mindset.

The concession mindset has been enabled and facilitated by the IAM with garbage agreements at UA in 2013, US in 2014, UGE, NK, and McGee. Neither Alaska, Spirit USAIR, or United were in bankruptcy at the time. The UA agreement was so bad UA management offered an early opener.

If you want to dig then dig, the NMB wasn’t involved. If you have Pacer look it up January of 2005, Bankruptcy Court in Alexandria, VA.

The news article is sufficient.

It’s fact, and you know this. It’s been covered multiple times and it seems the self-anointed pied piper of the IAM at US and his minion have a serious comprehension problem understanding reality.

I’m done with this subject, I proved the facts, you and your handler can’t seem to grasp it.

Was William O’Driscoll there for DL 142?

Josh

Agreed. ALL was a broad stroke. But please understand this is the only site I go to aside from Jetnet for opinions, etc.
It appears to me from reading the two sites that most of the "Let's vote now" crowd comes from LAA and those that THINK they will hit the lottery with the buyout offer . I realize there are sensible and logical thinkers, such as yourself, on the LAA side. I just question the number and how a vote WOULD go.
Quick question. What are the buy-out parameters? Years and numbers?? And are they going to offer it with the contract or outside of the contract??? I think they should be separate votes, but that's just me.
