... challenge every card as being "unprofessionally" gathered. Your way too funny.

It would seem that 3,000 cards collected for a second time in about a week would go a long way toward dispelling any notion that submissions where anything other than completely voluntary.

America West Pilots Union announces profit sharing provided to them by east pilots and routes. They do not mention their retirement percentage was provided by the east side. They constantly mention their pay rate has been more for two years but do not mention they have been the lowest for 20 plus years.

AWA public website post below.

"Employee Profit Sharing"

"For 2007, $49 million was deposited in the employee profit sharing program. The pilots’ gross share under this program is 36 percent of $49 million divided on a per capita basis among East and West pilots. Before the checks are distributed, which we anticipate happening in early March, pilots will need to review a list containing eligible months of service to ensure that their eligibility is reflected accurately. This list, once available, will be posted in the Read File and on the MEC website. Look for more information from the Retirement & Insurance (R&I) Committee in MEC Committee News and Benefits Alerts."

So you are stating here on open forum that usapa supporters did not use catcrew to locate pilots that had not turned in cards then met those pilots in the jetway when they arrived or were taking off for a flight. I want you to post how usapa did not use this tactic for card gathering...
Keep trying. As Phoenix said, if you have an accusation of substance, Why don't you take it up with the NMB? You would be summarily dismissed. You can try if you want. We expect it. But......open forum....you are still a funny man in your defense of ALPA.

It would seem a reality check is in order.

I wonder why you can not find these videos anymore. Maybe because they are now considered USAPA recruiting videos.

SkyWest, WestJet Earnings: SkyWest Pilots Tell ALPA No Thank You

Earnings2-1
Speaking of Skywest and WestJet, SkyWest reported earnings today -- and WestJet came yesterday. While SkyWest had good quarterly numbers, remember a few days ago when I gushed about the numbers from Allegiant? Get ready. WestJet had one drop dead quarter. A record-breaking quarter. More on their great numbers in this week's PlaneBusiness Banter.

One final note about SkyWest. It was announced yesterday that pilots at the airline had once again turned back efforts from ALPA to unionize the pilot group at the airline.

The vote wasn't even that close. 65% voted against ALPA representation.

Colgan Air pilots reject ALPA

Colgan Air logoPilots at Colgan Air have rejected a bid to unionize by the Air Line Pilots Association (ALPA). The representation results were tallied by the National Mediation Board in Washington, D.C.

In a news release issued by the Colgan Air, airline president Mike Colgan said "We greatly respect our pilots and the choice they have made. Now, we turn our entire focus to taking advantage of the growth and opportunities we have planned, creating more jobs and prosperity for all of us here at Colgan."

Colgan Air, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Pinnacle Airlines, is currently recruiting first officers for its fleet of Beech 1900 and Saab 340 turboprop aircraft. Colgan Air operates as Continental Connection, United Express and US Airways Express.

I find your story highly suspect AWA320. First, I flew all week last week and never had anyone approach me in the jetway or otherwise. Secondly, why would someone fill out a card to avoid a "conflict"? Would it not be easier to just say, "I already sent one in yesterday"? To be able to get 3000 replacement cards in one weeks time should tell you that there is finally some real solidarity on part of this property.

If you have an accusation to make don't beat around the bush with innuendo. Stand up and tell your rumors with confidence.

I already did my boy in the first post now man up and put it in print that this tactic WAS NOT USED!!! Maybe you need to send old Lee an email and ask him if you can first...

You may indeed find it anyway you like but I have yet to see any one of the usapa clowns deny it! I find highly suspect the gathering of more cards then people on the east property in one week. Yeah right ! Dirty tactics will be brought to light but first clowns need to ask their turn coat lawyer if it's ok to respond!! I already have my answer Gunther, their silence was deafening....

As for finding anything "highly suspect"? Ummm....

So...If I've got this straight = You've two close friends known to you for 20 years now flying for the east side of US..20 years...that'd make them perfect Nic fodder...and these guys are strident Alpa supporters that just can't wait to personally hand you their seniority and seats...sigh...OK...if you say so ;)

In a few months prior post you claimed to have jump seated around the east and found nothing but jovial good spirits towards your position, coupled with "apologies" to you...sigh...OK then.

You also coined the now famous "You won't even get 200 cards".."A little bird tells me that you're several hundred cards short"..and the clever little "Send in the cards...I Dare you!" (all of which..you now seem mysteriously unhappy with).

Actually AWA320, upon reflection:...I think I've met your "two friends", as well as those you long ago posted that were so "apologetic" to you on their east jump seats.

1) The Easter Bunny
2) The Scarecrow
3) Pallas Athena
4) Toto...who was sadly showing his age a bit.

As per the issue of "clowns"? ..Likely best to allow any/all readers to judge.........

I am stating here, on open forum, for ALL TO SEE, THAT:

I DO SOLOMNLY SWEAR THAT I HAVE NEITHER DIRECTLY ENGAGED IN USING ANY COMPANY PROPERTY OR INSIDE INFORMATION (AKA COMPANY PERSONEL) TO LOCATE ANY PILOTS ON THE US AIRWAYS SENIORITY LIST, EAST OR WEST, NOR DO I KNOW OF NOR HAVE HAD ANY INDIRECT KNOWLEDGE OF ANY OTHER PERSON, FINDING OR ATTEMPTING TO FIND, ANY PILOT ON THE US AIRWAYS EAST AND/OR WEST SENIORITY LIST IN THE SAME MANNER.

Did we really need to do that with the full availibility of crew rooms, pilot volunteers, the terminal along with all the seniority lists availible from the union websites as well as ALL THE PILOT VOLUNTEERS? It isn't rocket science, you know.

Libel. Obviously NOT a censurable infraction on US Aviation forums.

So.....who's your Daddy now? Let's vote.
