Aircraft maint issues

Puke....never seen a more disingenuous manufactured piece of propaganda. The company can thank me by negotiating in good faith! I'm going to go throw up now.

I agree but the everyday employees I'm sure are being genuine. I know the guy showing in the picture Ronald Stinson and he's a really good guy.

Brothers & Sisters,

The Executive Negotiating Committee met with American Airlines the week of May 22nd, in Washington D.C. and discussed several of the open issues and Articles. For M&R and MLS those Articles include: Vacations, Holidays, Overtime and Classifications. For the Fleet Service group those Articles include: Vacations, Overtime, Reduction in Force and Recall.

The Committee reached Tentative Agreements on the following Articles:

Overtime – M&R, MLS and Fleet Service

Hours of Service – M&R, MLS and MCT

Recognition of Rights – Fleet Service

The M&R Committee received a proposal from the Company on Classifications, and the Fleet Service Committee received a proposal from the Company on Transfers and Promotions that are currently under review.

While the Executive Committee met face to face with the Company, the remaining members of the Negotiating Committees were engaged in reviewing and crafting counter proposals.

Negotiations are scheduled to resume on the following weeks: June 5th, June 12th, July 17th & July 24th in Washington, DC.

I guess the boycott really worked.

I wish when they claim an article was TA'd we know the basics of what they TA'd. Is that asking too much?

What you are asking for is far from asking to much. The bottom line is they don't tell us specifics because they know that things may change and they don't want to deal with the fall out. So because they have no balls we have to pay the price.

I never understood it either cause it leads to rumors and misinformation running wild and uncontrollable. I will say at least in the articles we get T/A'd we do get some sense on what was changed or stayed the same. it stops all the rumors and guessing. The only thing I can think of is possibly the T/A's are not industry leading, as promised, and they will hope for the best at reveal time when you guys look at it for the very first time and they hope no one will catch any of the many flaws they are trying to get by the membership once again, be aware guys and for gosh sakes please read the entire package before voting, don't just look at the money and added perks, there are always reasons or rather "hidden fees" if you will that the co. hopes you don't catch deep in the language.

Almost 18 months of negotiations with no end in sight
14% cut right off the top.
Company match pretending nada.
Share gain
Trying to give pushback to fleet
No p.v.'s
No flex vacation
Get to pay twice the cost of benefits then out first class iam buddies
No vote on the association (though we were promised one)
The dumbing down of a once proud maintenance organization.

As a second class employees did I miss any benefits of this "merger"

We did get a raise. Now sit down and we will tell what we are going to do.

Well this is the last AMT related topic open. Let's see if the usual suspects are going to get this one locked as well.

And on a brighter note........

The topic is:

"Aircraft Maintenance issues"

If you can actually stay on......."TOPIC"....... nothing should get locked.
