Aircraft maint issues

Second interview next week. First one was more personality.

Saw old AA supervisors there. Small world.
Well good for you. Good luck on your second one too.
Yea, we got a few old AA sups here now too. Most are great but we do have one that doesn't have a clue at all. I think you guys use to call him "flip" in DFW.

We are so divided that Sito is looking out for his interests in the association. TWU side is going along with some of this crap. If you can't figure out why just remember the common denominator. $$$$$$$

It's bad enough that the company is slow playing the contract negotiations with us no end in sight. Now we have the power grab by the IAM in what once was a TWU station. The company must be laughing and enjoying this. Its tough to tell just exactly which union is in the majority and which one has the hutzpah

It’s also had IAM Mechanics and ramp before.

The company does love seeing all the back and forth and infighting, just makes it that much easier to stall out nego's and drag them out forever.

According to this lame update, nego's continue for you guys tomorrow. Looks like 3 days from 8-10. Why not the full week like the last two meetings? So now they are back to their typical 3 days. Day 1- arrive late and pretty much "catch up" where they all left off from last meeting. Day 2- back and forth thru out the day with no "real" progress yet again on any of the biggies, you know scope, pensions, retirement, health care, pay etc..., probably more like "progress" on bulletin board postings. Then Day 3- discuss when and how and where to meet next time, everyone is looking and going over their calendars, and maybe they will set the next dates and maybe not. Then they have to break early so to get everyone on flights back home. Once again there will be no "real" progress. The 3 days set instead of the 5 days speak volumes and still no updates what so ever. Most might say no news is good news but I'm not so sure about that with this asso at the helm.
