No management does not like it. It's the one thing they forgot to take away in bankruptcy.Yeah it’s contractual but I don’t think the current management likes it very much.

So if your not a troll you must be a stalker.Trolling someone means you are going after them just to harass.
Did you know that we have AMT’s on our Fleet Group pages because they say they don’t get informed on any of their pages. A guy just yesterday asked me if I wanted him to leave because he is an AMT. Of course I told him absolutely not.
If I didn’t post information here, no one would.
Information of course doesn’t fit the Anti Union Agendists.
I would like to know why we have not heard one word from the IAM about the pension since I received my information from IAM pension letter. Have not seen the full proposal from the association on the contract!
I think I may have accomplished the impossible. It has be almost 2 days and WeAAsles has not posted on the Mechanics forum. I think I may have to Run for President.

How about you dazzle deez nuts. Wait you can see this because you got me on ignore.
So back to more serious note, what was the last work rules they proposed for our SWA pay scale?Post no#12. How do you ignore me and continue to respond. I guess that makes me your Master. I OWN you now. You can’t ignore me. Don’t this remind you of a earlier time in your life. LMAO
I’ve harped on this for years. Why should those staying and living under the next contract give up something to those bailing out. If they want to give a hundered grand as a parting gift then give it to everyone. You get it when you retire even if it’s 10 or 15 years down the road. Then if another contract should ever come around and the company wants to give another buyout you get it again. The problem is we the people have no power over negotiations. We’ve all been used as tools thru the years but now it’s just completely bizarro.Absolutely. The company is hedging its bet. New hires are very easily dumped after a vote, pass or fail. I hope our negotiators press the fact that the money the company wants to spend buying yes votes must be spent on workers that remain employed rather than backstabbing IGMs that have delayed thier retirements for only one reason. To sell thier yes vote to the company and sell everyone else down the river. Everybody knows a few of these holes. For them the contract is a one issue decision that has already been decided. I know very well financially established people in thier 70s sticking around for no other reason. I know I kind of harp on this issue but it is a blatant underhanded tactic that needs to be ended. If the company is willing to spend that much for yes votes, then there is definitely more on the table for working union members.
I was asking the same. Was told that outsourcing will increase to 50%, to us, up from 35%, but I am being told it's the same because of the "spend" verbiage. Some are so far ok with it.So back to more serious note, what was the last work rules they proposed for our SWA pay scale?

Hey us Navy guys gave you lots of rides on the boat!- Thanks for your service. I don't know about American but we will have a B737 800 come in for line Ron with a A13 check with 28 man hours and we get 2.5 guys on it, and it is usually scheduled out at 7:30 in the morning. So how many mechanics will American Airlines line use for an Airplane with 28 man hours in a 10 hour shift?I have been trying to get an explanation or comparison of man hours vs maintenance spend. What does 35% mtc spend look like vs man hours? Is 35% spend comparable to 50% man hours? This ol` Marine from Oklahoma needs it dumbed down. Type slow so I can keep up!!
