A friend from Tulsa just told me the old AA management purge has begun today...[/QUOTE]
Sad day in Tulsa, Look's to be a 10-20% management cuts in all shops and hangers

I know at the time some lady from the teamsters showed up at my house I quicker her off my property told her I was for AMFA she asked why I want a craft union that the members controlled
Amen. We did the same to the teamsters that came door to door after firing the teamsters, and they were trying to get back in, TWICE.
Here's another article on why we all don't want the ALL MIGHTY teamsters...

Teamsters Union Approves UPS Labor Contract-Despite 54% 'No' Vote

It wouldn’t of mattered if 100% voted no it was going to pass . Because the teamsters wanted it to. There like the association they only care about one thing and that’s dues money. They do not care if they screw there members

Wrong. Read page 86, Section 2 of the IBT Constitution.

Roflmfao.. that's a beauty, good find weez..
That is the "only" contract (that I know of) that has such language in it.
Take ours for an example, if only 1/3 members vote it's the majority of who voted.
My God, most of 99% of the non voters are basically saying they are fine with a yes or no vote. Let the members who actually took the time to vote be heard, and allow their voices to count. This is why they have a union.
So, I believe the contract at UPS for the package handlers also state that they were suppose to go on strike if enough members (2/3) did not vote it down. So why did the teamsters violate their own constitution and not either strike or vote to strike as I do remember the constitution reads? The teamsters and their true colors once again, you just gotta love those crooked teamsters, it never ending with them, typical though...
