Aircraft maint issues

I think this proposal should be put up for a vote, this will tell the NC we are ok with this contract or this will tell the company their proposal needs to be tweaked, giving the NC power and a mandate.
It’s not a proposal, many of the items in the videos haven’t even been discussed at the table.

No way it should be put out for a vote, it’s not a tentative agreement.

You just fell for the company’s crap.

Sounds like our board some of the things we are arguing about, because of the company, trying to test the waters. But Big Jets you are entitled to your opinion, that's all it is, is an opinion it's not wrong.

What proposal? Was that email we got a proposal? I'm glad your not sitting in on the negotiations. By your comment I'd say it's safe to say you liked the buyout package and are ready to retire and screw the rest of the members and the future AMT.

What do you care? The TWU/Ass is going to screw you over anyway. That’s your standard line. You know that.

They might as well prove you right and give it to you.

And Bigjets is entitled to his opinion BTW.

Plus $4.26 license and .75 line pay.

Hey hog forget Delta. How does everything they put out compare to the recent UAL deal?

I’m just plain curious?

And I’m not going to state any opinions on it for your Groups as it’s completely at the end of the day your deals to make or break.

Comparable in some areas. The bonus is not in the same area code, however the circumstances are different. UAL deal has language keeping them 2% above AA/DAL. I believe it looks back every 24 months. UAL also provides for converting unused sick time to bridge the gap to medicare. I believe the formula was 11 hours buys 1 month of medical insurance. So 660 hours buys you 5 years. On an hourly basis, Delta is still paying a bit more. Just some random thoughts. I will reserve judgement until we get a full text deal to look at. I attached the UAL wage information for the AMT group. Happy Easter.

Thanks hog. I recall that Medical bridge being in the Fleet contract over there too. And Happy Easter to you and your family as well.

I think the 300 plus post on jet net tells the company what people are feeling. That thing might pass then we have the industry losing contract and the worst language . Why don’t you want a industry leading contract when I say leading I mean for us not the company

777, I have to admit I was getting impatient, but when I started comparing what SWA was saying, and then AMFA the people actually explaining what the company really wanted. I am glad they have held firm for our scope. When you work line maintenance and not overhaul, you tend to focus on what affects you. Now as far as you guys , how much patience do you have to hold out?
