Aircraft maint issues

Who gives a crap?

I live in a hub city, I’m just fine.

Keep showing your desperation.

Quite sad.

Try and cyber bully someone else.

No I clearly stated the pension would be frozen and not lost.

I also clearly stated the plan would not take contributions and a new retirement would have to be negotiated.

Also stated if you had less than five years you would get a lump sum.

We had five pages on this the other day.

Go back and read it and understand it.

I clearly stated I was at the roadshows with the pension people and read the rules in black and white.

Unreal you have to lie about what I posted.
So Watcher explain to the American mechanics why your pension was terminated, and why they should trust Parker or the IAM?

Parker had nothing to do with my pension being terminated, he wasn’t at US then.

Once again your confusing a single employer plan vs a multi employer plan.

Doug has no control over the IAMNPF, he can’t terminate it at all. He can try and freeze contributions toitvonly if the members ratify something different in the JCBA.

And no I don’t trust him.

I trust the people who represent me, known most of them over 20 years.

Do I really have to cover this again?

Amazing the fear you all have that you can’t comprehend the truth.

Quote;
“IAM Mechanic and Related workers at US Airways will lose the best pension plan in the airline industry if they vote IBT,” said Transportation GVP Sito Pantoja. “Losing IAM representation would also jeopardize valuable seniority protections that are written into the IAM-TWU joint representation agreement.”

It says "lose" not frozen...

OMG are you really that stupid?

It can’t be lost by law. If you have more than five years your vested.

Less than five years, you get a lump sum payment.

The plan would freeze and no further contributions would be accepted and a new plan would have to be negotiated with the company.

Educate yourself.

THE ASSOCIATION NEGOTIATION UPDATE
30 Mar 2018

Brothers and Sisters,

The full M&R and Fleet Association Negotiating Committees met this week with the Association Executive Committee in Washington, D.C. Your Committees were fully briefed by the Executive Committee on the negotiation sessions that were held over the last month.

As you have seen in our communications over the last week, the company’s position at the bargaining table has been concessionary, woefully inadequate and, quite frankly, insulting.

Their desperate attempt to steer negotiations away from the negotiating table by releasing twisted half-truths and lame videos are sad ploys to try tricking the membership into believing their garbage. Your Committees, unlike American, know that you are too smart to fall for that.

American’s leadership should stop leaving negotiations because their feelings were hurt and give us the proposal they owe us NOW that doesn’t waste our time or disrespect you.

The TWU-IAM Association will not relent in obtaining the value that the industry’s best contract will provide. Association members deserve as much.

We thank Steve Johnsen for his behavior that has given the Association even greater UNITY and SOLIDARITY than ever before!

Tell the Company their offer is NOT ENOUGH!

Fraternally,

Your Association Negotiating Committee

And I still have the superior contract even six years out, so you think you are safe in a hub city, so did the guys at United Airlines with their precious pension, and their Union gave it all away. Good luck with your fighting IAM, why you take a dump on the TWU American guys!

With all the information that came out the last few days and all we’re getting on the Mechanics thread is tit for tat, ha ha. I’m better than you?

Seriously?

Actually your contract isn’t superior.

We have better Scope etc

You have the least amount of mechanics per plane and outsource more maintenance than any other airline.

Hey your at 2052 days since you contract became amendable and counting.
Lol
