Aircraft maint issues

Yea but t shirts from th

Yea but a T shirt from the twu will not get us a industry leading JCBA. A organized effort to peruse the I.A.W. policy that the company and FAA hold us accountable for will be a more effective way.

I absolutely agree and push that very thing everyday.

AA Mechanics have been trying (cough cough) for 52 years now. And if you're IAM it was the IBT you were going for, not AMFA.

AMFA got only 8 (8) write in votes. 8 (8) 4 + 4 = 8

Eight.

52 years I doubt it. And if you were as knowledgeable as you would like to think you would know that lineguy was talking about northwest airlines.

There is a group on facebook
AA twu amt
that's a closed group look it up ask to join they will research your employee number and if your an amt they will let you in. It's a chance to have a reasonable debate without the trolls and baiters butting in constantly with personal attacks.

Yep good idea. Pretty small group. Only 319 members. We need to pass the word and get more AA AMTs talking there. Away from other work groups and prying eyes. There is an add members tab on the fb page. We need to grow that group. Improve systemwide communication.

Agree whole heartedly! There are trolls on here that there only mission is to piss people off and sow division.

Just a couple thoughts before I go:
1) years ago when Jim little first came to power I worked with him pretty closely on the junior Mechanic issues. At that time we had what I thought were Frank discussions and he did admit that yes historically the twu used maintenance as leverage for other work groups. The philosophy of a loaf of bread cost the same for everyone.
2) in a fairly recent conversation with a negotiator maintenance was offered 10 holidays and fleet was offered 8. We declined and stood together on that one. Inversely fleet has been trying to decline aircraft movements.

After some of the stupid posts by both weasel and Albert I will certainly chew ass on that one.why? First fleet will end up with aircraft movements and why should I sacrifice for those ingrates*

Again I would encourage everyone to research the
aa twu amt
page on facebook and be done with the trolls that are allowed to run rampant on this forum.

Aren't you also the guy that came on a few weeks back and were asking if they were going to be kicking some guy out of the ATD?

They're not.

Which local are you out of? Let's see if we can get this comment of yours checked out?

But I also doubt Harry Lombardo would know all of the exact particulars of any of our contracts but he'll have all the Maintenance and Fleet Presidents and in particular Gary Peterson, Dale Danker, Sean Doyle and Mike Mays to help him to understand areas of importance.

Im hearing Lombardo has NOT let Peterson into the executive session negotiations

President Peterson has really grown to impress me and I think you guys are lucky to have him as your President. He's putting himself out there to update the members more than any of the other guys in both groups have since the talks started and now with the direct video updates he's getting out the message even more.

Every Local in the TWU should be putting out a once a month Presidents message to inform their members IMO.

Im hearing Lombardo has NOT let Peterson into the executive session negotiations !!!

I know this will kill some of the more privileged individuals in this thread but there are comments on the Fleet thread made by 2 Negotiators on the process and maybe they might want to answer a courteous question or two?

That sounds great. Only AMT'S and no weasels allowed. I hope they will let me in because I was told that I probably don't work for AA. I'll give it a try. Thanks for the info.

1) I'm not sure how the TWU negotiates so I can't yell BS but the IAM and company has separate budgets for each group they don't take away a mill from AMTs and give it to fleet
2) Do you think I want to do aircraft movement whats the incentive for me to to get extra work should I clean the tables at the food court too. Besides I was watching the RDU town hall and it seems the AMT there thinks we are incapable of doing the job anyway, totally incapable of listening to the towers instructions. I guess he thinks you need an A&P to hear

All of them can turn wrenches of course but a few of them I really would love to know where they fall?

Lewis Terman (1916) developed the original notion of IQ and proposed this scale for classifying IQ scores:

  • Over 140 - Genius or near genius

  • 120 - 140 - Very superior intelligence

  • 110 - 119 - Superior intelligence

  • 90 - 109 - Normal or average intelligence

  • 80 - 89 - Dullness

  • 70 - 79 - Borderline deficiency

  • Under 70 - Definite feeble-mindedness

I sent a request too so we'll see how selective they are. If they let me in they aren't too selective. haha
