Aircraft maint issues

Not sure where you heard the company has moved a little on scope. They have not. You need to read the AMFA updates and emails. I just read an email that the company is still stuck back in 2012 for the scope. They have not moved one iota in scope asks. They did add economics up to 30% signing bonus, and an increase of .8% for the snap up for a total of 14.8% of base. (Of course the company included the increases of lic with their percentages to make it look more like a move to 16.3% for the all in rate). The snap up the company is offering is still not even 3% per for the past 5.5 years, it comes to 2.69% for the past with NO raise on Aug 2018. They did not budge on the 3% thereafter rates, and of course they never moved off of scope, in fact it was never even mentioned in the company's offer after last negotiations. Can you tell us where you heard the company moved???
The move Swampy is the protection for the maintenance stations, they have not offered that before. The problem is the ALRs do not finish scope like they could've last july. If you read between the lines of the AMFA updates, the stuff they have already agreed to with the company, they want to readdress that, for economics , whenever we meet again. It is the plain simple truth, we will never have a T/A when our negotiating committee keeps moving the bar in terms of what they want in economics. Then they turn around and blame the company. You need to reach an agreement and have a vote. If it doesn't pass, then you can fix what the guys didn't like about it. These American guys would gladly take our situation. But I am not going to argue with you on their board.Plus I have seen the complete minutes from our last meeting what the offer and counter offers, were, not just the little 2 page updates our union puts out.

Anyone heard yet what Delta's PS payout to the mechanics are? Enjoy your PS yet again guys...

This type of question is not for the little people. It takes special training to learn and understand the answers.

10.1% of their Gross 2017 wages not counting any performance bonuses or their 2016 PS payout.

WOW! If we are going to be industry leading. This needs to be factored in imho. Either match that formula or tack on the equivalent to our hourly wage.

Actually they are going to probably make even more next year since Delta Management returned their original PS formula starting on the last quarter of 2017. Doug Parker is quizzed about the Delta PS change back in the last Town Hall before the SOTA event. His response was they’re going to have to find some way to rectify that disparity? (Ok we’re waiting Mr Parker)

I have to wonder where Delta ( +7% or +3% ) falls in an Industry Leading contract?

Delta Airlines employs over 80,000 people
American Airlines employs over 120,000 people

That fact will cut in to the PS formula paid out for each employed individual.

Even though yes our wages and PS payout are still lagging currently.

Once upon a time DP said he would like to put money in employees' pay rather than profit sharing. I will gladly take the 2% in a raise.

A Delta acquaintance told me it is 8% all in earnings from Jan to Oct and 15% last quarter.. Not far off from the 10.1%.

But who will hold our Profit Sharing?
I do not believe the employees Profit Sharing comes in the form of Stock.

This was partly my fault. I did not realize I was in Americans thread when I answered you the first time about our contract info. I will take any future talks to out thread, thx for the reminder. I will wait for all the update meetings before I pass any judgement...
