Aircraft maint issues

15 years and still no nose to tail overhaul, no D checks and no Q checks.

Four lines of C checks and one was in exchange for foreign outsourcing.

Dude you keep posting #Fake News.

The proof is right out there and yet you keep lying.
D checks? Where you been? Maint checks have changed names in our industry twice in the last 20 years.
Again you are wrong. We have 4 lines of heavy maint that are a lot more than the c check lines. Even your fellow mechs at AA know this. Your knowledge itself speaks volumes. I don't post fake news, I am just posting facts you know nothing about therefore you claim they are fake news. Take the blinders off.

TWU,if working, are only getting an extra 4 hours pay. Compared to LUS double time. Rest assured NO TWU member working today or tomorrow is "enjoying" anything.

And this guy says I don't know what I am talking about. Even I knew the TWU'ers were still not getting their full holiday pay when working holidays and o/t. I honestly hope you guys get that language back in your new JCBA.

Four lines of C for 700 planes.

Over 80% of Maintenance outsourced.

Those numbers speak for themselves.
Thanks to the teamsters language we still outsource 75-80%.
We have more than 4 lines of c checks. We have 4 lines of heavy (again Tom, NOT c checks) in Dallas.
It's been that amount since the very beginning.
I'll just let your fellow mechanics set you straight as they are currently on the past few pages.

It's like Swamt and Hackman told me Tom, do something to make a difference, help your Association get a contract, don't just rest on, well it doesn't effect me, so I don't care.

First of all I do my part and support the IAM and the Association 100%.

Second you don’t know me Mr Flip Flop.

Third, if you don’t care then why dozens of posts here and not being active on your no action Section 6 Negotiations on the WN board?

So proud of you Tom, glad you are active, nothing to discuss, no new business.

Swamt still spouting bull****. When was foreign soil outsourcing agreed to under who's leadership at SWA? Do history- contract extension check. Give a hint . 2008. Swamt full of **** and just spouts off. Related to Hackboy. Quit blaming the Teamsters for ur current dilemna. Take some ownership. How's those Federal lawsuits pending working out? Your next mediated session is ????? Oh I forgot. You will wait em out. Hell of a negotiating strategy. Have no choice until lawsuits are litigated. Wow . Guy is dillusional and believes his own bull****. As always- Go Figure.

Do you know what the iam allows at usair? Probably not!!!! The iam allows 50% outsourcing of heavy maintenance and this does not include all of the back shops. If you figure the lose of the back shops the iam allows 68% outsourcing of heavy maintenance and this does not include line maintenance that gets outsourced. With that included your well over 70%. People that live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

Do you realize it took our CBA to be abrogated for that to happen?
