So if you guys get a crap deal in a T/A do you vote it down, then jetison the association, and do a card drive. Or do you feel it passes and you are stuck with that deal, and nothing changes.

Me if it’s not industry leading I use my one vote for no. Then I say card drive. Look I’m getting older like every one else with a few health issues. It might be my last contract I do not want another 5 to 6 years of consseions to retire on. There’s no excuses the company is profitable so now’s the time to get what we lost and more back

Some of you guys are psychopathically obsessed with this “Card Drive” calling. That group you want DOES NOT want you. You think those SWA guys want YOU to have the voting majority and knock them out? Seriously WTF are you talking about trying to breath air on that Planet you live on?

Your Bargaining Representative acronym came into existence by a Mechanic who worked at AA 53 years ago. That individual for a very small period in time was able to organize much of the Industry into the fold before it all collapsed in to only representing roughly 3000 individuals.

The group he never could organize was his own at American Airlines and with his recent death I also believe his dream more than likely died with him.

Not correct.

It’s time and one half plus 8 hours straight pay.

If you elect to bank the eight hours to use as a comp day later you only get time and one half.

And if you are off you get eight hours straight pay or a comp day to bank and no pay.

If TWU wanted the same amount of holidays then you should have put it in, when you agreed to working on each other’s metal. I do not get double time or time and half working the holidays. So get your facts right. I’m sick of you whining about the same old ****! Remember you screwed TWA mechanics. Assholes!!!!

TWA was ACQUIRED. Go look that up. If AA had not stepped in. Those folks would have been on the street. The TWA folks got a fair shake despite what revisionist would have you believe otherwise.
