🙂Hey don't tell us how to do this🙂 we have been leaving unfinished articles in our contracts for years.Just don't do what we did, almost finish scope, thought you were close to a t/a on scope, and turn around and ask for more in economics. That brought us to no more mediated talks in 2017.
Scope, Insurance, Retirement and Premium Seniority is all that’s basically left.
And I don’t want the Association doing anything AMFA has done.
Over five years and no agreement and no talks.
Swamt is over trying to give his advice and wisdom and is spouting bull****. A lil dose of reality. SWA Mx last full section 6 negotiations concluded in early 2002 with the Teamsters. Amfa came in early 2003. They agrreed to an extension early on the August 2005 amendable date with pay raises and cost neutral deal. They agreed to 2nd extension in December 2008 and at that time agreed to " Foreign " outsourcing language with Aeroman in San Salvadore in exchange for pay improvements. The Teamsters have not represented them for over 5+ years. That extension took them to their current dilemna. This round is first full section 6 negotiations they have attempted. Now they are in a dilemna waiting for Federal lawsuits from both sides to start litigation early 2018- on ice in mediated talks- members on outside looking in with no idea on how to proceed. There new mantra is-" we will wait em out". Not much of choice with lawsuit litigation pending. All under the legal guidance of the Seham advisory group since 2003. Swamt blaming Teamsters for their dilemna and they have not represented the group for almost 16 years. He needs psych help or recheck his contract history. Just cause he spouts it on an Internet blog does not make it factual. He has dug deep hole. Has no idea how to get out and won't put down the shovel. Now he is trying to give his take on American negotiations and has no idea what to do in his own back yard. Misery loves company. As said previously his 3000 member group could make a nice Boy Scout jamboree gathering. Hell- American TWU assembled that in a 1 day rally. As always-Go Figure!!!!!!!
If we finish before you guys, you will probably move ahead of us.I see you’re getting a little dose of the Crystal Ball Moron we’ve been dealing with here the last few months.
He has no furniture (nothing going on) in his own house so he keeps coming into ours to squat.
He may also in his delusions think he really does work for AA? It’s pretty weird.
twu in two weeks gave away pay cuts holidays vacation double and a half on holidays. Gave up double time on overtime. In 2012 they got rid of afw. And the pension was frozen Gee AMFA for me I’m ready for another card driveSwamt is over trying to give his advice and wisdom and is spouting bull****. A lil dose of reality. So if you guys get a crap deal in a T/A do you vote it down, then jetison the association, and do a card drive. Or do you feel it passes and you are stuck with that deal, and nothing changes.twu in two weeks gave away pay cuts holidays vacation double and a half on holidays. Gave up double time on overtime. Not at the moment.and always being compensated more than us at LAA
“Thanksgiving is here again and there is no better time to think of the reasons why you are thankful. It is a time when we bring our families together and, regardless of the challenges we faced over the past year, we collectively give thanks for what we have, each other.
The same is true of our Union family.
In addition to wishing every IAM member a Happy Thanksgiving, I’d also like to thank those IAM members who are working today, assuring millions of travelers make it home to their families and loved ones safely.”
