Captain Prater's Video has created a flury of US Airways message board activity and I believe this presentation has done more to increase the resolve of the US Airways pilots to prevent the Nicolau Award from being implemented than any other action.
I believe the majority of the East pilots simply want an EC ruling and then let the process begin such as kicking ALPA off of both the East and West property, no new joint contract (which prevents the Nicolau Award from being implemented
), the East pilots seeking "equal pay for equal work" per Doug Parker reaching out to Jack Stephan, and endless litigation.
In my opinion, the East pilots are not interested in obtaining a fence agreement and they now believe the items above are the best course of action.

"Flurries" seem to happen every time the East pilots notice the glaring contrast between their MEC and reality. Your MEC knew from day 1 that ALPA wasn't going to touch this with a 10-foot pole, and they've once again misdirected their failure in somebody else's direction.

At least we agree on something (having the EC rule already).
What I can't figure out is how you think you're going to be able to get out of the situation you caused yourself using the same line of thinking that put you in it in the first place.
Now we agree on two things (no fence agreements).

You hard core "it's all about me" greedy types are getting really old to the rest of us.
Remember you're not the only ones who fly for US Airways. There are many of us at the WO's that have been screwed by you mainline types for years. We have little sympathy for you at this time!

Um, ya. At what point was obtaining a fence agreement an option after the decision came out.
You should have wrote, " Reality set in on the east and they realized fences and prots were no longer on the table."

That will be up to DP and company however I sincerely doubt he will allow the synergies go away based on your hollow demands.
You really have nothing to deal with but your own employment. Keep in mind that another merger is on the horizon and some east capacity could be removed to really make it work. That's just what I hear around the Tempe tombstone.
