Pay attention, that was not my question.

Would you consider USA Today a public forum?
Pay attention. I said that I do not care to discuss the company's fuel program on a public forum.

I think the question stumped him

Thanks for the help, but I would hope that he would be able to understand his own rhetorical questions.

Too funny! Yeah, but you have to admit, it took you awhile. I had you going.

I'm glad to see you are in the acceptance stage.
I accepted "Nic or nothing" years and years ago when you guys came up with that position. I'm sad to think you have missed out on being "glad" for so many years.

Hardly. Years of dealing with Usapians and sitting through two trials have made me a skeptic. I've seen many Brian Williams moments on the stand to last me a lifetime.

But you keep coming back for more! Admit it. You like it. You LOVE it!

I have never been to a trial. What exactly is your role in the trial

I actually ran into Gary Hummel. I told him, "Look, man, you do not want to get divorced in Phoenix. There is some judge that really hates you there."

Judge Silver would give her everything.

"But your honor."

"Sit down. Shut up. She gets everything!"

But, I have never been to a trial.

Plaintiffs,
So, who are you going to sue now that USAPA is no longer a union and has no representational powers whatsoever? I'm not sure why this suit hasn't been thrown out and our dues money returned. The "USAPA" merger committee should be funded through APA and the BPR rendered moot.

but it certainly brings a certain satisfaction that I outlasted the 767s

I had not thought of that aspect of the 767s leaving, and it got me to remembering which airplanes I had seen arrive on the line, and head for the desert, all within the span of my career.  I watched the 727-200 come and go, the 737-300 and -400, the F-28, and now the 767.  The other types that have gone were already flying with their "cool northern efficiency" before I had the opportunity to fly them.  And, of those, I only chose to fly the F-100, which was a letdown after the F-28.

My guess is that there are still some of my former-northern colleagues who have seen the MD-80 come and go, as well as all the 737 models and the F-100.

What is even more interesting is to realize that I have "outlived" the professional lives of many Piedmont and USAir(ways) Presidents and CEOs, some of whom were fantastic, and others that were so incredibly bad that it is a miracle (actually a testament to the ability, fortitude, sacrifice and professionalism of the front-line employees) that the airline made it this far.

I will never fly the A350, nor the 777 or 787.  Do I care?  Not in the least.  If I am blest with the health necessary to finish out just over 500 days on the line, I will be quite content to move on to my next career in a volunteer status and see the curtain come down on my act in the big "Airshow."
