94% of the Westies voted for the MOU knowing that the APA would be the bargaining representative. 94% of Westies voted for a fresh start with American.

100% know that there is West Merger Committe and that committee intends on presenting the Nicolau list to the panel.

Cheers
Now if the Nic is the list, then why does the west need its own merger comittee?

Small wonder. I've no doubt that such as "you'se"/"We" would find great comfort in being supportively surrounded by nothing more challenging than equally mindless/spinelss little wimps like yourself.
More challenges

How come you 330 types are the biggest loudmouths? That's because you don't get in the crew vans with West crews. If I ever PM you, MD, it will stand for Punch in the Mouth. You'll have to buy another set of dentures, Captain Geritol. How about them apples? ;)

I met a friendly west pilot the other day. We had a pleasant conversation. You should try to be more like him!

I've found friendly conversations with many west pilots. It's my honest opinion that, sans the nic obscenity and the wholesale "spartan" idiocy, that most of us would've gotten along reasonably well. Having said that, well, I've never been much a fan of delusionally narcisisstic, "spartan" infants as are most often seen on boards like these.

Sigh...understood. I expected nothing more from a mighty "spartan" than "internet tough guy" nonsense. After all, it isn't like "you'se" are actually any even slight semblance of a "Pilot", as you must be well aware, or you would respond otherwise with a PM fully affording you the chance to show the whole world just how well "you'se" would/ever even could offer me a "Punch in the Mouth" aloft.

"More challenges "...?: I'd thought I'd covered that with the generous offer of a "trophy" for merely participating...or would a warm glass of milk and a few cookies have done better for "you'se" there?...Perhaps a lollipop or two?

Now: Where's my coffee kid? ;)

I've had decent conversations with East crews myself. Those who are not drunk on Usapian kool aid which have been pleasant.

About that coffee, is that a single or double shot of Irish Whiskey? ;)

Prove "you'se" pathetic self as anything other than a complete BS joke in the sky and we'll then talk. I certainly won't hold my breath on that ever happening, supposed "Pilot".  "You'se" fully know your sorry arse would easilly be quickly packaged and handed back to you aloft, and are merely an interent pimple/boil, properly afraid of being lanced here.

"You'se" may now check the latest "minus/plus" votes here, and/or run back to the likes of Facebook/whatever to see how many "likes" from equally inadequate infants you've proudly garnered through your mighty keyboard "deeds".

P.S. A point of minor curiosity: Why is it that something so simple and basic as "PM for wager details and arrangements in the highly unlikely event that "you'se" ever evolve even any semblance of a spine." could EVER be met with "minus votes" from ANYTHING even remotely approaching supposed "Pilots"? Heck, I even offered trophies just for showing up, and warm milk and cookies to boot!...even lollipops, for that matter! What's a fella' have to do here to entice a mighty "spartan" into even just purely recreationally simulated "battle"?....?

Oh well. Patience is a virtue, and it's only been over 7 years now since the wager was first offered, so I suppose it's best to just wait for some mighty "spartan"..umm.."Pilot" to at least "heroically" punch me in the mouth via the keyboard/internet: " If I ever PM you, MD, it will stand for Punch in the Mouth." ;)

I've found most west folks I've ever met to be largely decent people, though I do assume anyone sporting a $675 "liberty tie" to be an utter moron exempt from any sensible conversational efforts, and...well, save for the sorry likes of yourself that strangely fantasize the world somehow "righteously" owes you 16+ worked years of any other human being's life, just for "you'se" being born, in general. I'd best exit now, lest I get my mouth "heroically" punched by a true "warrior" on the internet. ;)

P.S. Forget about the coffees kid. I can't speak for nyc, but I don't think I'd care to much trust "you'se" with any open cups.....

If you'd concentrate on flying rather than obsessing about your imaginary status of aviation superiority, you may have less bent metal and I would not have to look at certain reminders of poor airmanship such as the latest headline:

Another US Airways A330 (N273AY) was damaged yesterday morning (05FEB15) when it collided with the air bridge after arrival on stand at the end of US730 from CLT. It is reported that the pilots released brakes before the chocks were positioned allowing the aircraft to roll forward several meters before coming into contact with the air bridge. This is the second US Airways A330 to be put out of action in 2 months after the incident in CLT involving N788AY on 02DEC14.

I understand that when an incident and accident occurs why the press is so quick to pass judgement, but I never understand when a pilot does. You must be the only pilot in on the planet who has never made a mistake and I would truly like to shake your hand for that reason.

But, all of the facts are not out yet. This anonymous report that "the pilots released the brakes before the chocks were in position" is not entirely credible. First of all, it only takes one pilot, usually the captain, to release the brakes; NOT pilots. Perhaps the person who released the brakes had actually received the chocks in signal. Perhaps the jetway was mispositioned, as has happened twice in my career when I stopped the airplane and would have hit the jetway by following the marshaller's signals.

Secondly, the first 330 put out of service was hit by a catering truck not even owned by American, or US Airways for that matter. I received that information directly from one of our 330 check airman who seemed to know more than just reading an anonymous post on the internet.

Thirdly, isn't it a violation of corporate ethics to be posting such photos on a public forum. What satisfaction do you get from violating corporate policy? Can't you at least wait for the results of the investigation to come out.

Actually, free speech is protected by the constitution. I'm not talking about the USAPA constitution which did not allow a message board or could tolerate dissenting opinions. You probably missed the link which includes the disputed photo and the information so you might want to contact Al Gore to shut down the Internet, since he invented it. While you are at it contact NBC in Philly about a another story you might not like:

Indeed. "Thou shalt not know the hour, nor the day". The first friend I lost to the sky (hardly the last, unfortunately) happened when we were all just "kids" in our early 20's, due to his generously allowing students in the T-38 as much "rope" as was (admittedly mutually agreeably) usually reasonable, only to be killed in a final turn accident, after he took control, but the damn engines failed to respond in "Tech Order" timing to afterburner selection, one failing to do so at all, and the other precious seconds after the "advertised" time even started to stretch it's nozzle. What most completely disgusts me with these infantile "spartans" is the clear combination of their childish arrogance and their utter cluelessness on what should reasonably be standard-issue-wisdom.

Any childish punk that ever imagines him/her self somehow "bulletproof" from the Fates can't ever be even imagined to be anything even remotely apporaching an intelligent or at all competent "Pilot"....

Exactly what curious part of "The first friend I lost to the sky (hardly the last, unfortunately)" strikes you in any way as any even slight semblance of braggadocio...? No matter, given that "you'se" are a previously well evidenced and now complete, utter moron.

Wager's always open. PM if interested..."Ace". Be the very first ever "spartan" on the block to show literally the whole world just exactly what "you'se" are actually made of.....? Somehow?...I just won't hold my breath for that ever happening. Just what's stopping "you'se" from making of yourself an eternal and mighty "hero" of "sparta" for all the world to see?

Fourthly, another question that remains unanswered it why chocks may have not been in place. The marshaller is supposed to remain in view of the captain until they are in place. Chocks placement are supposed to the first item accomplished by the ground crew. I cannot imagine a captain placing the brake switch to off before the chocks could have had time to placed.

Fifthly, this is not "headlines" this is a site link for aviation aficionados and pilots and mechanics who have too much time on their hands.

Personally sir?...Barring any potentially overheated condition; I generally leave the brakes set, but that's just me. Too many times in earlier life did it happen that signals were given for chocks in...and yet/etc.
