So, yet again; Since "you'se" completely dodged this earlier, and you're supposedly "not now and have never been an AWA pilot" Just exactly who do you work for and in what capacity?...

I'm sure at least some would like to know from what prized fountain of truly "professional"..umm..."wisdom" your incoherent droolings come forth?

Is an honest, and very reasonable for general perspective question really that difficult to answer? You will understandably forgive some small skepticism otherwise as to your "professional" qualities and experience...?

Should you have anything more to "professionally" offer aloft than just a rabid keyboard; my much earlier PM to you always applies: "Wager's alway's open. I could even set it up so your babysitter/instructor would do the flying/"fighting",no wager required there, and you could spend a few minutes of your life in the sky at least imagining what it's like to be a Pilot. ;) PM if interested." I'll hardly hold my breath there....

That is no doubt, a public forum and my first impression of East professionalism.

Well, my first impression of west "professionalism" was formed from being smirkingly rejected from a jumpseat, while literally shaking hands with the apparently-only-pretended "captain"..but "you'se" have so, so much more to offer than just that degree of hopeless childishness:

No matter really. I'll be VERY happily done with even the most remote association with "you'se" utterly pathetic "new breed" of (Mommy bought me my license!)..umm..."pilots" in fairly short order. Meanwhile; I'll continue to enjoy the magnificent view from the "office" window and the distinct pleasure of a patheitc punk/"spartan"-free cockpit...Save for any wishing a jumpseat, who will never be denied by me. That last not at all out of any even pretended "respect" for "you'se" sorry sorts, but purely for personal principles and the good of the aviation community in general.

Personally? Unlike "you'se" umm..."great minds"?...I don't "hate everyone of you'se"...I'm just truly sorry that the miracle of human flight so quickly devolved so's to somehow sadly accept "you'se" infantile sorts into it at any level...Much less as supposed "professionals"....And btw; would someone please tell that bald-headed simian, that's so much lusting over the title "captain" that people can actually earn that "rank" and more, outside of just whimsically-costumed-corporate-joke-conditions, assuming he was able to? No matter. Even that suggestion would go light years beyond the "It's ALL about MEEE!" philosophy that's now so tragically popular....

P.S. To the AWA Flight Attendants: Thank you for taking such great care of my "significant other" on that going-home-after-vacation flight. She still has the napkin you Ladies signed, and it all worked out well. I got another 2+ hours of airport "quality time", awaiting an east-crewed flight, but thus was able to make sure her son was there to pick her up.

As for the "spartan"..."professional" umm..."pilots" involved?....Explain to me why I'd ever have even the slightest cause to reasonably want to even wipe my "shoes" off on "you'se"? Hint: Entirely infantile Fantasyland notions of "This is sparta!".."many battles" tested "knights", and/or even so much as deadly "Dire Wolf" T-shirts fail to much impress, nor do nowadays "Liberty" ties for perpetual children...Oh "Lords and Ladies".... ;)

For the "professional"...umm..."pilots" of "sparta"?....We, all of us as humans, constantly live in a world of far-too-often violent chaos and wholesale uncertainty....so at least consider the following advice from an observant and far more experienced fossil: Grow Up!

US Airways faces a "high probability" of liquidation by mid-February ....

I/the family have a tract of Florida swampland to sell, if interested, and there's a "high probability" that it will be worth many millions...eventually, but, well, perhaps not in this lifetime, or as we generally refer to anything within the realm of actual and immediate "reality" as "Are you kidding?"..."That has NOTHING to do with actual reality!"...."What foolish ancestor thought THAT purchase was great idea?"...Interested?

You "high probability"/Fantasyland/not reality sorts, have always been my very most favorite types to meet at both althetic tournaments and poker tables...or really anywhere, since you're always good for some laughs. ;) In so much as even the moment of time that anyone looks at their proverbial watch; the world changes around them. A wholesale lack of awareness of that's hardly akin to assigning a person as having any "intelligence",...Quite the contrary, in fact.

Without any personally caustic notions, and merely to make even the least point here: Just how well have ANY of your "career expectations" proven at all, even in the least bit real and actual?...Still even imagining "you'se" self as living at all outside of the very heart of Fantasyland now?...Look around for a change.

Arrogant "attitude" and wholesale, mindless ignorance are likely to win you precious little in this life, just FYI. Take that for what it's worth.

Really.  WTF do you care?

I don't even look at the WN forum, because it's none of my business.  Just as this is none of yours.

No worries nyc:..."kids will be kids"....and only time will teach them....

Yep....and that set against the most supposedly "intelligent" of the "unionized" employees anywhere....Golly!...Who didn't see that coming? Against that, we of course have complete half-wits that magically imagine that management somehow, wasn't "serious" in their nebulous/"F" the employees contractual language?..And even that some "Letters of Agreement" might, again purely magically, "fix" things downstream?  One needs to simply choose between crying or laughing...."But, But! just look at those hourly rates!"

I've made grudging peace with all this. "All" it cost me was to surrender even the tiniest residual fantasy that commercial "pilots" necessarily had even half a brain.....they obviously don't.  I know/knew the AWA sorts to always and forever be just a pathetic little pimple for management to pop whenever needed, but I'll admit I'd somehow expected more from the APA....Oh well...

Deciding Against the West
•Agreeing with the East not to use the Nicolau Seniority list
•E190’s, B757, A330 new or additional aircraft all placed with the East
•All new hires, flying and growth placed with the East
•ACARS (Benefited the East)
•Closing LAS using expired provision
•Distance Learning (Cost the West helped USAPA and the company)
•Losing a Pay Check because of “realignment” (East method, West lost)
•Loss of sick time for 2014 (East method, West lost)
•Many contract provisions (STD, scheduling, medical cost)
•Not fully and properly trained for Caribbean flying, locked out
•In July PHX flying to American, MIA flying to the East, West gets what?

Forced to Defend Ourselves
•The West pilot group has been forced to defend our rights in court for over six years costing in excess of $3.5 million dollars. Strictly on donations. Because the company has refused to abide by their agreement to use the seniority list per the Transition Agreement.
•At the same time shrinking the west (19.7%) and forcing us to repay $2.5 million for distance learning and paying union dues.
•Eighteen West pilots including myself were sued by USAPA for RICO, Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations. Charges usually reserved for mobsters. Another legal bill in excess of $300,000. The company said nothing.

East Bid 14-3a
•The latest East bid (14-3a), amended from reducing 20 pilots to increasing 30 pilots.
•Places new hire, off the street pilots into the left seat of E190’s and right seats of B767.
•Seats on the E190 and B757 are still owed to the West for six years so far.
•The West still has downgraded Captains.
•A March 20, 2014 Jetwire message stated that US Airways took delivery of an A330-200, making it the 22 A330 in the fleet.
•An additional 13 A330’s flown exclusively by East pilots. Not a single West pilot has access to those aircraft.
The American legacy pilots merger committee will make great use of david braids slide presentation to AMR management.

"Section II.B.5 of the Transition Agreement contains a procedure, culminating in
binding arbitration, for allocating the flying of aircraft that were not in the two carriers’ fleets at the time of the merger between the two pilot groups. The union parties invoked that procedure in 2006 with regard to the EMB 190 aircraft, and in September 2006

"Arbitrator Dana Eischen issued a decision holding that the EMB flying should be assigned to East pilots until US Airways implements a complete operational integration pursuant to the terms of the Transition Agreement."

A true and correct copy of the September 2006 Eischen Award is attached hereto as Exhibit 10."

As to not wanting to disturb poster "eastcheats" chagrin about too many factual posts in a row, I will wait till tomorrow to post the Eichen Award regarding the west pilots ability, or actually inability to fly East aircraft, post US and AWA merger.
