Tom Davis used to tell the Piedmont pilots that our compensation would be great, but he didn't want us to be first. There was a reason for that...one you will never understand. For some of you, it will never be enough. Others just want to pick a fight with the company to see who can win it. For the rest of us, we look at what seems reasonable at the end of the day, we have peace with it, do our jobs and go home.

Go tell the crew room you want the NIC, talk about screwing your co worker, you take the cake.

Well...if the East MEC offered to accept the NIC at Wye River (with fences which would have been gone by now), how can you say it would screw your co-worker?

Are you saying that the East MEC wanted to screw the east pilots?  That is the only logical conclusion to the history.

Every "liberty tie" is a testament to something... All inspired by USAPA. :D

Yeah....they're the envy of the industry now.

Why not post their compensation package next to Delta's?  Should we be demanding what they received?
You missed the point, when threatened with liquidation the pilot group did not flinch and they got what they wanted, here some would rather drop their pants and bend over.

Now that this is a done deal Wilson says we have to go to work to try to get a deal like Delta.

Wilson is by far the biggest idiot to put a letter out telling us that.

APA will now focus on further engagement with American Airlines management to address ongoing shortcomings in our contract. Our total compensation will still trail industry-leader Delta, while work rules affecting our pilots quality of life need meaningful improvement. Theres a lot of work remaining to achieve the industry-leading contract our pilots deserve, Wilson said.

Hey Keith, that ship has sailed!!

Wilson is talking like a moron.  Its embarrassing.   Doesn't he remember his tough stand got us the Retro Pay.. that Kirby promised anyway?  He should be doing a victory lap while we throw rotten tomatoes from the stands.   Just resign already and fade away.  :D

The age makeup of the Spirit pilot group, and the fact that Spirit is a stepping-stone to the majors, made their decision to strike a no-brainer, and almost a no jeopardy decision.  (Similar to the Com-Air strike.  Oh, and look what that solidarity got them in face of the financial clout of Delta.)

Also, due to it's miniscule size, the nature of the clientele and the cities it served, Spirit is well off the radar of the politicians.  Spirit goes on strike?  Who knew?  Who, other than Ma and Pa Kettle, even cares?  Everybody can be reaccommodated on other carriers, so there would never be Presidental or political interference.

I love how those ties get under your skin. They should. Those ties are bringing Nic Plus to a property near you shortly.

You didn't use any curse words?  Are you feeling OK?  Did someone steal your password?  :D

Dream on kid. I honestly see those ties as little more than a proud badge of any wearer demonstrably being at least 10-20 IQ points below any acceptable norm, and are always good for some chuckles and/or bemused head shakes.

"Those ties are bringing Nic Plus to a property near you shortly." Seriously?...I rest my case.

2343 posts? How many years have you wasted here and what may I ask have you accomplished? I'll tell you; absolutely NOTHING!

You have managed to consistently make a fool out of yourself though with your dozens of completely inaccurate predictions and supposed logic.

Maybe EastUS can expound a little clinical analysis as to why a supposed sane individual would expend so much time and effort into a subject and situation that supposedly doesn't affect them. Now I don't know about you or anyone else but that to me is almost borderline scitzophrenic or insanity in my book.

Can a human being contract rabies?

That's what is funny about you; they don't get under his skin. He is simply laughing at you guys anytime he sees someone wearing one of those ties. I'll explain it to you - a person that would spend so much time, money , and effort on a non- obtainable quest for something that will never see the light of day just is not playing with a full deck.

Maybe if you would spend some time and money on an intelligence test and counseling you could come to the realization that your NICe dream just isn't going to happen.

That polygraph test of yours didn't go so well, so maybe you just have an aversion to tests these days huh?
