I hope you're right. Imagine telling your wife and kids that you turned down almost $50,000 this year (Additional salary and DC Plan contribution) in hopes of possibly getting something nearly as good next year, maybe. So many things could happen between now and then, whether it is another terrorist event, or oil prices, or the economy, you name it. This is big money, a sure thing, on the table now!luvthe9 said:I'm guessing .........58% yes. 42% no.

I don't know if you are East or West and I don't care. As long as you get the info, make a decision based on the info provided by the APA which is not East or West driven, go with it. I was a no and decided to change to a yes after making a decision on the information provided. You are correct, there are a lot of factors, keeping in mind that an airline recently emerged from difficulty. AA is in a perfect position to go to Delta + in the not too distant future.westcoastflyer said:I hope you're right. This information came from a US Airways F/O who is married to a Delta pilot. The information should be used as a comparison to what you are being offered by the management proposal. Kind of eye watering.....

Do you have "To Dream the Impossible Dream" as your ringtone, too?
Too bad USAPA wasted so many years accomplishing absolutely NOTHING.luvthe9 said:"Regardless of what Delta does with PS, an American pilot will lag substantialy behind their Delta counterpart in respect to total compensation and QOL benefits.
Remember this, Delta pilots will most likely be in their SECOND or THIRD contract while you will still be working under an industry lagging contract thru 2019 or beyond. United will also be in their second. Below is an excerpt from Delta's 2014 analyst call."
Anyone still have any questions on how why we will never be at parity with Delta or United?CactusPilot1 said:. AA is in a perfect position to go to Delta + in the not too distant future.

This is the perfect example of being owned by Glass and Parker, he has no clue, yet thinks he is going to show management real soon!
this statement is so out there I am actually laughing at it. Like has been said on other boards "F" No in 2020, you go get em!
Unless of course you were referring to managements compensation in which case I apologize and agree with you
