Yea he is on FaceBook blaming the DOL... and the membership for not wanting change...

i think the membership wants change, but not HIS brand of it, being the fact that we have been burned before by candidates claiming change and not delivering it Im not surprised, but then again its timmy and hes going to play it up, even saying AGAIN that hes not running an opposition ticket but we know he will be right back like a rash that wont go away next year...
IZ DOOSH ON
F-BOOK WIT
NIELSON?

No.

And at PMUS it is contractual, so no changes can be made.

So AA fleet service will probably end up with it when the new contract gets signed
I think for fleet they will either get the US language or negotiate a blend of both, as Maintenance has duty time regulations, fleet doesnt.

There is one article that covers shift swaps, and an LOA covering back to back swaps.  It can be read on IAM District 141s web page.

Here is the link to the CBA:

does anyone know if or when the JCBA talks are slated to begin  now that the elections are over  and the NMB has made its ruling?

also  has there been any movement regarding the grievances over the DOH for boarding flights etc?  Havent heard and was just curious

As for the JCBA starting, yes no later than 30 days after the NMB ruling per the MOU. Ruled May 19th, so the JCBA negotiations should start on June 19th. Oops..............

Talks should begin today after a nice expensive Steak & Lobster dinner on our dime!

Let the games begin!

Robbed,

The Joint Committee(s) are in Placid Harbor right now meeting, all three committees, to prepare for negotiations, more will be released at the end of the week.

Probably.

However, there is the possibility that some locations will offer more liberal CS policy rules.  I am sure the contract rules will act as a "minimum".

JFK Fleet Service,
I think we can be pretty hopeful.  Nobody is going to get filleted.  I don't know the TWU but the IAM International leadership has taken an excellent position to secure things and plan things with our group since the merger was announced. The leverage is there, the International IAM leadership is there, and a few other things will be attended to prior to the end of July 19.  My opinion could not be any more positive regarding negotiations and fighting for a new contract.  And that's saying a lot.

regards,

None of my TWU brethren are unable or unwilling to answer this Tim, maybe you can or will.
When is our negotiators first scheduled to meet with AA?
