Not anymore, go read the latest issue of Time Magazine, AA has eliminated the more legroom in coach.

The 757 AA is running BOS-MAN is not in all coach configuration. It still has 22 or 24 FC seats between 1L and 2L, but the entire plane is being sold as coach, with the FC seats being assigned to premium level Aadvantage members, much like how row 1 is assigned on the 330.

With regards to Business Select, the program had an ominous beginning, as it was announced the same day as flight 427. It also had some other major flaws including being only in the BWI based 737-200's and not serving markets out of LGA, BOS or PHL, as well as having seats that frequently broke.

One of the good things to come out of BWI was project high ground.

There is an article in today's New York Times business section about the American flight from Boston to Manchester with Business Class seats and all coach service. The article mentions how various airlines are offering service on various routes to suit their customers. It also talks about how discounters are adding business class to some flights.

I've heard that there is a requirement only if you offer FC service. If you offer NO FC, then you need no FC. But, if you do offer FC, you need a certain percentage of seats. The 757 is considered a heavyload (???) and requires 16 FC whereas the 737 and 319 only require 8.

Also, indeed EVERY CP desk person says they are coming back as well as many FA's. I heard it from one very, very reliable source. Guess we'll see.
