Wow. Look at our stock

Though it's good in one way, to have ALL that $$$$$ laying around(for a rainy day), it ALSO is sure to attract "Interested parties"

(Think of cooking up a couple of pounds of BACON, leaving it on the front porch of your cabin overnight, and wind up having a 500 lb, 4 legged, Black furry VISITOR snorting and groaning outside your window, at 3 AM)

Unfortunately, as you pointed out, it is just human nature to do so.

I'm finding it very difficult to have any sympathy for people who wish me ill.
<_< ---- Friend, you have no idea on how we feel until you've been there! Let's hope that never happens!---- ;)

<_< ----- Never say "never"!---- Signed, Someone who's been there!!!!

Yes,,,never say never..

Here's some food for thought..Suppose a private equity firm buys AMR,,as is the case with Chrysler, Suppose these MBA's see value in selling AMR maintenance services...? Eagle?

Hmmmm

But you hope it does happen, as do most TWAers, which makes it impossible for me to muster up any more sympathy for their plight.
<_< ---- Curious, What makes you think you know how I feel? Oh! I forgot! Your AA management, and AA managent knows all! As for sympathy, keep it! You'all haven't figured it out yet? Within the next two years, or so, there won't be enough of us arround to make any differance anywhy!!! But it seems we're still proceived as a threat! :bleh:

   It shows how little you do actually know. I am a rank-and-file flight attendant, and I base my perception of your attitude on your many anti-AA, and anti-AA personnel-slanted, posts.

You're proving my point.

Revenge??? For what???

Wishing ill will on those who didn't have anything to do with your airlines demise is really a sad shame on your part. With your type of hate speach, it makes one hope TWA employees never get recalled.

Hackman,

The post came from someone who works for AA... ;)

StrAAight -

I have learned to be very careful with sweeping generalizations. I know for a fact that there are 2100 (+) furloughed APFA represented flight attendants pulling for AA to be wildly successful; our long and storied careers hinge on that outcome.

It is my opinion that most conclusions drawn from reading this board are rarely supported by reality. I want to thank you for your outspoken support for the recall of furloughed AA flight attendants and ask that you reconsider withdrawing that support.

Today marks the first day that a recalled, former TWA flight attendant will/can work a flight as a fully integrated AA crew member. I hope you have a chance to meet these individuals. I am confident you will come away with the more accurate perception that they (we) are just people who want the opportunity to restart a career we terribly miss. That a recall will provide much needed relief to the active AA flight attendants makes this a win-win proposition.

Here's to wishing prosperity on AA and all who work, and want to work, toward that goal.

In Solidarity,

Hunter

<_< ---- The only thing my posting proves Straaightaalk is that you, and your grouping, are the most paranoiac! I wish you'all no ill well, I pity you!!!

Anyway, it seems it is US and UA's turn to climb. They both gained over a dollar as I type this. Hopefully, AA's will climb higher as well.

Hunter, You are a class act and I share your sentiments. Regardless of anyones position on the aquisition, wishing ill will on any group or the success and survival of AA is unproductive and ignorant.

It could be TWA’s revenge starting to happen.

AA employee’s wanted to slam TWA employees to the bottom of the seniority lists. Some work groups succeeded, other didn’t, but as a whole TWA employees got fxxxxd.

To all to the former TWA employees, I told AA employees at the time it will happen to you someday. Someday could be tomorrow.
All former TWA people rightfully belong at the bottom of the seniority lists. If anything "bad" happens at AA, the TWAers will be the first to go.

Ladies and Gentlemen -

Case and point.

Aafsc and Hackman

Remember the shoe could be on the other foot tomorrow. When we get stapled to the bottom of a list, we will not have a leg to stand on. I’m also sure that you will be the ones that are screaming about how unfair it is.

Past practice will eat you lunch in front of the arbitrator.
