Tha Amfa group has used social media for there own agenda. But when social media does not fill there agenda now they do like it. Interesting concept. Amfa was built on social media and is coming back to haunt them. I Ask again??? What is the plan for Federal lawsuit litigation? Nothing will be concluded until that is resolved. Dispute- ignore- do whatever. Be honest with the membership.

It is well known by people involved how and what will happen with the suits in play. No it's not on hold it just depends on how the union desides to proceed, and that's it. It will take an equal exchange , when SWAPA reached their T/ A their lawsuits where dropped. AMFA sued Southwest, because of the company e mails trying to go around the negotiating committee! The Southwest lawsuit was because of the overtime issue, not getting into that on here !

Oh- once again ignore the question. I do not and am glad I do not work for SWA. I stated that from the beginning. You have been on every sight with your Amfa wisdom and that was all right. But when it comes to your sight you hide. I thought your Union was transparent!!

If I was at American wouldn't have a choice because of both the association and the company, so I would just be along for the ride! I tried to get on at Tulsa because I was an engine guy, but I probably been laid off that was in late 1989!

Unfortunately that was a doomed situation from the start Richard Anderson said in public in 1998 he wanted Delta and Northwest to merge, and unfortunately everything feel into place for them to do it! It really didn't matter if those guys went on strike or not, because half of them were going to be gone anyway. So they tried and the company replaced them all, and any Airline that wants to do that will do it, and that is the truth!

Amen brother. Yes we are whining over here at SWA country, but let it be known our brothers and sisters over at AA have had it a lot worse than we have ever experienced. Hackman I would NEVER demoralize you or your brothers and sisters over at AA for what you guys have gone thru. Period! I do apologize for this man that is on here whining and complaining about how bad he has it. He/she has obviously has never experienced a single down turn in the aviation industry. And more than likely was handed his job by a favor from a family member. Those are the worse ones and I am sure you would agree with that one.
On a second note, If I can get rid of my shift trade on days on wed I will do my best to be at DFW to help the TWU/AA mechanics show support for a new contract. I do know some of our National leaders are going to be there as well, just do not know when they will be there. BTW, ask this guy if he will be there, NOT...

I know the status of the fed lawsuits, why don't you know? I am an informed member within the union, are you? You are completely wrong on how these suits are affecting sec 6 nego's and look completely stupid out inquiring about them. I will not post where these suits are at. YOU need to do your own homework and get in touch with the union leaders and ask them. Just like you have been instructed to do so by myself, WN, as well as the union leaders themselves. We are done doing the workload for other people who are just out here to troll and divide and provide misinformation and represent the company as you guys are.

No, I did not. Agree that we will not replace the NC as we did before. The outcome? You really do not want that published. I can tell you right now that if we lose the LOA's, the outsourcing, the scope language, the international and "0" time language to the FBO's we are screwed in the future. It will not happen overnight, but it will happen over years. Just ask the AA'ers how that creeped up on them and what happened. Do not believe this new regime about the future of maint. here at SWA. They want more than the average of 68% to 75%. They want 80% to 90% to be farmed out. Soon we will all be working LIne RON, Hngr RON, Graves line maint., and overnight maint. Yes the co. is guaranteeing all current workers will be protected as far as job security, and a guarantee of at least 2.75 H/C ratio but they do not say where you will be working at, or what shift, or what days off, or even what city. Pls brother get a clue about what is going on around you here at SWA.

Oh I see it, don't published it, when you look at the industry, from carriers larger than us, it happens, It really feels like it is inevitable here, because just the way the industry is going, oh we might get paid more or better 401k match, but there are so many people that just really don't care. You go to the union meetings, and there is maybe 20 guys or less. Again No offense take care !
