WN Mechanics seek mediation

As soon as they figure out which groups of mechanics orchestrated by the book task cards , and feel they have a legitimate case, they will file, or fire them, and make AMFA spend the money to rehire them, or fight an injunction, if they choose to file it. When stuff starts coming up in message to the field, and supervision has closed door meetings everyday about out of service aircraft, watch out gentlemen.
VV so much as said, he will source out the work if it can’t get done. He’ll let the mechanics work on wiggle plates, lava pans, and cargo liners. I guess that means tp checks for now. This way they kill the overtime and eliminate calling people in at premium pay to ground aircraft.

The amazing thing is , we write more stuff up, so I will be expected to get overtime to fix it. Gary says I don't think so, meanwhile the stations that play nice get the overtime, especially the ones working on our ETOPS certification. Like I said when we had a problem Air Wing in the Navy, they didn't punish the whole Navy.

I don’t think the whole Navy is getting the screws put to them. Just the ones that are placed on the sh**list. I think this is more directed at AMFA than anything. They are letting us know they are now a 30 billion dollar company and AMFA is a flea on a dog to them. If this is all you got, sort of speak, it’s not going to work. Nontheless, SWA has always been short on mechanics. Sometimes the workloads are more than a person can possibley do. The manning to aircraft needs to go up. AMFA is correct about that.

If we had approved the first contract guys would have retired, and they would hire new guys. They have hired quiet a few since 2012, when we first started. But if you piss them off, look out. When they bought Morris Air, I started over with no seniority.

You guys can put all your little retarded x s you want, I don't Give A ****. Gary Kelly, just sent an email read it, and enjoy.

I'm not posting it here, but did you all see the letter this afternoon from GK? How about the grand ole letter from the Legal counsel for SWA that has basically said we as mechanics and AMFA are doing an illegal job action and they are going after us due to high OTS aircraft numbers. How the F do you insinuate that I'm doing something illegal when you got all these camera's everywhere, shove compliance, compliance down my throat and because we don't have the manpower, and parts, and time, it's my fault it has to go OTS. What's illegal is me putting my darkest sunglasses on and not looking at anything on a jet, while signing off the paperwork. AMFA needs to get some rebuttal on this crap, because it's, well crap.

I told you they were building a case. You guys better study your history. Should be interesting.

Stay strong. This is where you separate the men from the boys.

I'll be striving to be 100% compliant till the cows come home. Consequences be damned.
Crow as long as you follow procedures and your task cards, they can't say anything. But if you change how you normally work, questioning everything just to slow the operation down, then they can.

Unless anyone of you are causing damage to the aircraft and then reporting it as a discrepancy to have to fix, you are not doing anything illegal. If I find a discrepancy and write it up, I would love to see Swa fire me for this. I won't even be off the property yet and will have my call in to the FAA, the local news and when it's said and done, they will rename this once great airline to my name "DGAF Airways". One thing for sure is this is a game changer from here on out, you will never be able to return to the "old ways" because I can guarantee you those cameras are in full force now, looking for stuff to fire guys. If you signed something off and didn't do it 6 months from now, hopefully after a contract is settled, you will be a former employee, I would put money on it.

This is our new norm. If it's bad, it's bad. Just make sure you are consistent.

Does it go somewhere along these lines?

Again what the Union is pointing out is that SWA is full of chit if they’re declaring an all hands on deck and a ton of guys signed up to come up on deck and the Captain told them to remain belowdecks.

If that’s true then SWA is trying to set up your Union for a fall.

Your Union claims they have the list of all the people who signed up and weren’t called so if the Company tries to file an injunction against AMFA for a work stoppage or sues you for lost revenue it’s not going to stand up in Court.

Why right now I have to believe AMFA is because the Company has not filed that injunction. If Management had a leg to stand on I can guarantee you that filing would be immediate.

No your Company is trying to divert attention away from those CBS News reports and the other issues they’re having right now.

They’re trying to make AMFA the scapegoat.

Sounds like your Lawyers are saying the same thing now.
