WN Mechanics seek mediation

Thanks for the definition. I'm well aware of the meaning. I'm also aware of who was speaking and what he meant. Just ask one of his coworkers from Mdw.
I am referring to a singular unit, when I was saying your lawyer, of course it is our union.

An August vote, that is year six, hopefully they sweeten the deal a little to get it passed. Because if not, and it fails, it will drive it, till 2019. We nor the company has moved fast this whole time.
If we have waited 6 years, why give up now over another year for making the mechanics whole? Now that just doesn't make sense.

Last thing they've seen at AA is Delta +3%. SW has Delta at $44.92 base Dec. 2018 so "all in" is several short of $53 and change.
Go look at the AA thread. The company (AA) has adjusted their offer and now are offering 3% above Delta's new Oct raises coming. And after adding lic prem's and shift diff's they should be right around 53 somewhere, plus I think AA gets line premiums too, but not positive.

So we are now going to Chase what other Airline mechanics make, American has no new contract to vote on, so that is an unfamiliar territory. I see from the latest AMFA update #65, they want to make sure the bonus money adds up to 91 million, so another delay until an official T/A is presented, should be an interesting union meeting tomorrow in the windy city. So we wait again. Hope everyone had a great memorial day, here's to all who served, or lost loved ones in the line of duty.

Driver, there you go again. I never said we will chase another airlines mechanics wages. I simply put out what their offer has changed to. Please re-read and comprehend. I didn't say let's wait and see what AA mechanics get, now did I? C'mon man...
And BTW, why would you criticize our union for wanting to verify and double check for our retro and bonuses? Now your just being nick picking, give it a rest man, and let this crap roll out...

I did comprehend, there is nothing wrong with checking numbers almost two months to produce a T/A is ridiculous , it should just tell the people thinking there would be a quick solution turn around for a no vote, with this outfit is pure fantasy.

Ridiculous huh? Wow! People that just want to rush, rush, rush into a contract will be the first whiners when they found out something and say, "why didn't our union get this verified or double check this?" That's what they are doing now, for OUR benefit. Give them the time they need. Don't worry driver, you will get your chance to put in your yes vote. But i do agree with you, the longer it does go the more and more no votes I hear of from the floor. Hey that's all part of life, but, I strongly encourage the NC and union to verify everything from the past. For one it's been a long 6 years and for 2, this company and especially the co. nego cmte can no longer be trusted what so ever as they have constantly shown that they always retract and backstep every forward progress they make. If it isn't in writing from the co. nothing will go forward until it is. Any moron that flat out fully trust verbal language from the company will be in for major disappointments in the future. Give it a rest driver and allow our NC and union to do their due diligence.

I saw people walk out today, because there wasn't a straight answer, we are being played by both sides, and you are a fool, if don't believe both have skin in this game. I hope the ghosts of Northwest AMFA, do not repeat themselves. If it is another 18 months, so be it.

You need to give a better explanation. You saw people walk out today, from where? From what? The ghost from NWA AMFA? Are you serious? Good God you need help. Get a hold of yourself. What the hell happened up there that got you all in a frinzzy???

YOU telling someone else that THEY need help? LMFAO.

BTW look VERY closely. None of the AA AMT’s respond to you. They know now what you’re selling is even worse than what they have to them.

Coming up on 6 years man.

Our local 4 meeting when our ALR Cramer, couldn't give a straight answer on the distribution formula. When he said he wanted people to vote no, because if we ratify this other airlines would pass us in pay, saying we should be the highest paid. When he was asked about ETOPS , said it didn't give us a whole lot of leverage with the company, because SWA will do it anyway. When asked if we vote no, is there a plan for a quick turn around, no he couldn't guarantee anything, but he recommends a no vote. After that a bunch of people walked out. He didn't change anyone's mind. One of the options they looked at, was a strike vote at one time, but they won't even go there. So lots of questions to ask at the road shows. Still no T/A, down to 3 items now. So I am guessing a T/A sometime in June. It just gets old. And no I don't need help.

Weazz if you guys take 6 years or more to produce a T/A, Swampy be on your American Airlines boards saying how your unions are a complete failures, and you guys are complete fools. But if our union AMFA takes six years, they are doing a wonderful job.

So what happens as the years go by and people drop off because they’re sick and tired and for Gods sake they want to retire? I guess none of them get that glorious retro check that gets a couple more hundred added in after what, 8 or 9 years?

How long do these maniacs want you to wait?

Not to mention 6 years of compounding retirement income LOST!
