Our Vice Chairman started an affair with one of the lawyers at Lee's law firm. Lee saw this as an ethical problem, which it was, and in the ensuing weeks the attorney left his firm and our officers severed ties with Lee's firm.
We were on a legal winning streak at that time but the guy who replaced Seham lost the Addington II case. He was not even close to Seham as an attorney. The whole thing was a complete fiasco.

Hey Retard I don't have a problem with APA or pilots, industrial unions or an independent union. What I have a problem with is any union telling you, it will be this long, or we can do this now, and every other excuse in the book, why you can't reach a T/A. If the shoe was on the other foot at American and every group was done except maintenance, and you were under the same contract with no improvements, you would be the first one screaming for your leadership head. And judging for all your negative post, if you say you wouldn't I know you are a Liar.

If it gets to the point for us where there’s Month after Month of no movement and no meetings or BS 2 day meetings done every few months for appearances, I’d be on these pages (and other places) saying enough is enough with the Association too. Give me what you have and let me make the next decision!!!!!!

You "understand losing stuff in bankruptcy"??? You mean like the $600,000 plus in wages, or how about the 75 plus holidays at half pay??? Thousands of hours of sick time lost??? How about weeks upon weeks of vacation???

The TWu/IAm still can't get a contract after they promised they could get a deal with the TWu/IAm ASS-ociation after all the pain and anguish of 2003, MCIE and AFW shut down, and thousands laid off when the promises of "no layoffs" was broken. "Concessions for Jobs" was the TWu lie of the century.

Like I said before, you would be in the Rubber Room sucking your thumb with a binky and a straight jacket if AMFA sold you down the Dung River for 15 years.

Cry me a river, so why didn't you leave American, like 20 years ago, to either SWA , or Fed EX , or UPS, or even Delta Airlines, You chose to stay and take the ****, that was your choice, or you could have retired from the Air Force, and had a second retirement.
 
DEMAND your Negotiators bring you concessions as it is the Company will offer. What they claim is their best deal, so no matter what, the TWu will push through a yes vote for their company union corporate masters.

THEN vote it in beyond overwhelmingly by 100% ;YES, because the TWu needs concessions for jobs...then the layoffs and base shut downs will happen later.

Send the Company and the NMB the most powerful (only) message you can, the TWu loves concessions and ASSociations rammed in with no vote . Why are some of you it seems so beyond scared chitless to man up and take action?????? Man up and do what the TWu has done for 30+ years, vote yes, sellout and promise no more concessions, "WE WILL GET 'EM NEXT TIME.
