Boy you are a special bus rider Swampy last time I looked American Airlines Pilots are represented by APA, not the TWU, and USAir pilots were USAPA, and Lee Seham screwed the USAir pilots, and he had to seek legal counsel look it up. The American Airlines TWU mechanics my like him and AMFA, but half of American pilots that were America West and USAir do not.

There comes a time (5 and a half years) where the F’n Union needs to cut the chit and let the members have their voice. If they’re afraid of that voice cause it goes against what they think is right well so be it.
AMFA (Seeham) just shows me more and more with every passing day that they’re NO BETTER than the quote on quote “Industrial Unions” they claim to be so much better than.
So either the Union Bosses don’t trust their members or the REAL bosses are NOT the Members at all?

Weazz if AMFA wants to organize other work groups at other Airlines, people want to see results, all they have to do is look at the Fiasco we have brought on ourselves. SWA was AMFA crown jewel for saying we get industry leading contracts. When you can't come an agreement for your membership to vote on good or bad, you look like a CEO that can't run a company, or a lawyer, or business agent that can't close a deal. People,look at that, and ask themselves why would I want that person or union to represent me.

A former AMFA supporter I know who’s moved up the ladder some in the TWU said to me that unfortunately AMFA boxed themselves into a corner at SWA with no way out. “It’s not how he would have don’t it”
If I say his name the radical anarchists will just say he sold out cause that’s ALL they got. They got Jack S. So I ain’t gonna say his name and I’ll leave them guessing.

We have boxed ourselves, by dragging this out. All your association has to do is piont at us, and say we will give you a say , you might not like it, but you still have a vote. Best tool your union has , regardless if people like your union or not, case closed.

When the next round is over and you still don’t have a deal how many times are you going to say when the next round is over? How many times have you already said when the next round is over?
In TWU land the rock throwers like to bring up a phrase they believe they heard in the past (maybe they did) that sounds a lot like what you just said.

DEMAND your Negotiators bring you whatever it is the Company will offer. What they claim is their best deal.
THEN vote it down beyond overwhelmingly by 100% NO.
Send the Company and the NMB the most powerful (only) message you can. Why are some of you it seems so beyond scared chitless to man up and take action??????

If we get to the point where we’re at a standstill at AA I’ll absolutely be screaming that it’s time to hand the ball to us and we’ll pick up those extra yards they need.
And IF our Members vote yes against the recommendations of our Negotiators well that’s life. And the Members have spoken. Exactly how it should be in a truly Democratic Union.

"Lee is a very bright guy and an excellent attorney. Our USAPA legal efforts definitely suffered when the leadership decided to change law firms. Our Vice Chairman started an affair with one of the lawyers at Lee's law firm. Lee saw this as an ethical problem, which it was, and in the ensuing weeks the attorney left his firm and our officers severed ties with Lee's firm.
We were on a legal winning streak at that time but the guy who replaced Seham lost the Addington II case. He was not even close to Seham as an attorney. The whole thing was a complete fiasco.
