You could have at least a TA NOW. It doesn’t mean that you’re going to vote yes or no on it but at least you ALL will know what you’ll take from Management and not take.
UAL Mechanics got a TA and told both the Company and IBT to shove it on what they really wanted. They voted no by 95% and soon after got a the deal they liked that they passed.

I thought it was evident to all why there has been no T/A. Industrial unions such as the TWU, IAM and Teamsters will bring a P.O.S./ concessionary T/A back to their members to vote on. AMFA won't. You go ahead though and keep believing the TWU has your best interests in mind.....sucker.
Yeah all the other groups at SWA are suckers too. The negotiating committee and the ALRs have admitted whatever comes out, will pass, they are afraid of that. Because whenever everybody realize they had no contract for 6 years, and what we finally got wasn't that great, they will be replaced and actually have to work.Then you’re NEVER going to get a TA because your demands come from Fantasyland.....fool.

SWA and AMFA have a fully intact contract, they have suffered nothing compared to the TWu sellout of 2003. They have lead the industry in pay and benefits for many years, the TWu never has, and probably from what I heard at the last 591 Union Meeting, we never will. "WE ARE STILL MILES APART".
