Will you hold a vote no sign at the gate of TULE?

That was an attempt at humor Dan and I am sorry you misunderstood. You had the nerve to hold a sign the last time, so you don't need to prove anything to anyone.

Oh sorry Tom my mistake, didn't know you were joking, If Dave is smart he will get you on his team, he needs a few Men of more action & less talk. 🙄

subtle hint to the keyboard warriors.

Here's an option for ya. Hold a vote YES sign and vote for the TA. Then if you can't stand working there any longer take the Early Out, grab the $39,000.00 they are offering you, sever your ties and hit the road....Just a thought B)

Well some of us unfortunately are to young for the early out or I would take it for sure, as for holding a vote yes sign well you know there are two sides to the road plenty of room on the other corner, if you really feel strongly about wanting this contract you should stand proud & face the Membership with your vote yes sign, I can guarantee it will earn you some respect from your coworkers. 🙄

No doubt Dave is a smart guy. He also is not afraid to give his true opinion no matter how it hurts and you gotta respect that. I don't always agree with him, but I think we are lucky to have him around. He sees angles that nobody else sees.

I guess you don't read too good do you boy?

I read just fine. How much money you willing to give away and continue to complain about how bad you have it. Your middle age should have no negative impact on you if you are as skilled and diversified as you claim. Employer's should be fanning you, offering you grapes, and massages just to come to work to them.... B)

Could someone explain the $39000?

I though it was $10000, $12500 plus severance?

Plus there is a lot of bitterness from those whose seniority is 04/10/2001...

You don't have to retire. Just take the money and run. Go elswhere and then be sure to come back here and tell us how good you got it with your new employer... 🙂

Starting over at the bottom at 50 years old isn't a good option it's more logical to stay for the few years left at the higher pay & deal with it as best a person can then retire so you don't have to leave one problem company only to join another problem company.
There are winners & Losers in every contest this one will be no different, some will win & some will lose but all will survive one way or another.

Already highly respected, don't need to make a scene...

Yeah just wish he would always have the same civil attitude on the forum that he has when talking to people in person is my only complaint ...... oh & that he stops telling people what to do or say ..... cause it never works anyway. 🙄

Not sure if you noticed but were in a recession so jobs aren't as plentiful as you might think, a job in the hand is worth two in the bush or something like that.
