Will AA top DAL's $1B offer for JAL?

Guess we will just have to give more concessions, give up the pension, end reitree medical and use non licensed mechanics to enable AA to counter this offer.

American would rather invest in JAL so it can produce revenue for OneWorld. I guess investing in it's own employees to generate revenue is far from the basics of how to run an airline 101.
