I was not crying about anything. I was making a point. I have been advocating the equalization of all airline mechanics. You on the other hand are taking a defensive stance against this position. I want all mechanics in the same union, a mechanics union. I want the same pay and compensation across the board.
Yes the Eagle mechanic should be making as much as the American mechanic, but not under the concesionary representation we both have now.
There is no reason to cut my pay to increase yours, except under the industrial unionism provided by the TWU. Nor do I want the pilots or flight attendants pay adjusted to compensate the mechanic. I want my wages back and in fact I believe that mechanics are underpaid.
Again you misunderstood. If my pay is to low, than yours is that much lower. You need an increase just to catch me. There are only four real problems I have. 1) The concessions we took, 2) Your underpaid, 3) the OSM and 4 the concessions since 1983 (the B-scale) which drove everyones wages down.
