Whats The Difference: Usair & Eastern Airlines?

I worked at Eastern Airlines prior to US Airways and I'll tell you right now the two aren't even close in comparison. Until you actually witness people physically defacing and pilfiring mass quanities of company property and consistantly treating customers like crap I wouldn't even mention Eastern in the same sentence as US Airways. I've been there and I KNOW, that's why I left. Eastern was a great company brought down by the biggest jerk in aviation history - Lorenzo. All I gotta say is you think its bad here now, you should have been at Eastern in the final years and you would have had a ringside seat looking down into the abyss of hell.

The way management is running the airline now that difference is fading away quickly.

I apologize, my comment was meant for usair begins with u. I know there is big diierences and so should all. So why even bring it up.

Congress has passed laws to keep companys from doing what Eastern management did to their company. It can be summed up in one word - Reaganomics
