His ship is sinking fast, what five members of Romney's family, didnt matter yesterday, now did it?

Before you pull the plug, see how many delegates go his way at the convention. All could be in for a surprise.

The funny thing I noticed, he keeps losing and smiling. One snippet a reporter tried to get him to light off and he smiled and replied " its all about delegates, one with the most wins". Something up his sleeve?

27%-MN, 27%-IA, 30+-ME, and lots and lots of delegates, takes 1144 to win.

Like Dell says He's always smiling. The way delegates work in a Caucus state is the straw vote is nice for the media but of no consequence at the convention. The manner in which delegates are apportioned in a caucus state it is entirely possible for Ron Paul to finish DEAD LAST in the Straw poll and walk away with 100% of the delegates. WHY? Because he has a nice hard core rabid following ready, willing & able to do the down and dirty behind the scenes work required to both be a delegate and to make sure you're one of THE delegates. Given what I know and it's very little is that is not only possible it's likely he will win ALL of the IA delegates and over half here in MN.

The above was why all the shenanigans in ME with the caucus.

Young People (Over 50% who support him are under 30)

Yes, I read Keynes and Hayek back in college, I know the concept of fiat currency and all the other blah blah blah that the Ronulans push on everyone.

Fact is that, no matter how many rabid fanboys Ron has, he isn't ever going to win, and he has wasted so much money on his quixotic runs for president, when that $$ could have been put to better use to push his ideas.

Ron is a good guy, but his fringe followers are crazy, they spam up talk shows, endlessly prattle on about the "revolution", until reality sets in that no one wants him...

My guess would be no. There's no way the GOP is going to give the nomination to the guy who is dead last in the delegate count. Since it's all about the delegates Ron Paul should know this.

Like I've said before, the felegate count is unknown due to the nature of how the Caucus's in varying states are conducted. Truth is by the convention rolls around he may have more then we think.

Truth is there is a long way to go. The reality is unless he pulls an upset in PA, NJ, CA, TX and wins one or two his role will be that of king maker if no one goes in to the convention with the requisite 1144 needed to win.
