I am tired of the negativity. And that's really all I have to say. It's been 2 years now and it's time to either buy what the company is selling or not. Honestly I don't much care which you choose just choose already.
Your tired of the negativity? Why do you participate in nearly every thread if that's the case Bob?

Your tired of the negativity? What do you have invested in this beyond FF miles and the opprotunity to switch to another carrier of choice if all else fails?

"It's been two years now" "and it time to buy what the company is selling or not?"

Easy commentary Bob , for a man that has nothing invested or anything to really lose in this debacle. I will refer you back to option one on being able to switch other carriers in the worst case scenario. Many in this business will not have that option. Let us fight our battles our way..and we'll stay out of the politics of the photo copier business in an alike and respectfull fashion. I won't even crosss the line by commenting on Wendy's , just to maintain the peace. Fair enough?

"Honestly , I don't much care which you choose , just choose already"

Bob....If you don't much care? why are you so obsessive in your rhetoric and post volume here? BTW....many have made thier choices...and it's clear by the numbers of posters that you elect to debate and spar with...that it's clear what choice has been made.

If the negativity is too much?...or the truth is too cutting for you? I strongly suggest a stroll on the Jet Blue forum for a nice change of pace. Maybe you can lobby them to demand wage increases along with outragous executive compensation in an attempt to keep up and level the field again. God knows you love a challenge and a debate....or is it just simply stirring the pot that amuses you the most?

Please tell me again how much you can care less....the volume of upcoming replies will speak differently...that I'm almost willing to bet on ;)

I am just floored by how many posts PB has on this forum-almost 2500. It may be healthier for him to find something that will contribute to his life rather than this forum. I sure would hate to be dying of a heart and reflecting on my life in those final moments and not get any further than thinking of how I bettered the world by posting 2500 times on this board. No offense to the posters here-most have an investment here that is much more important than FF miles. I feel a little sorry for him.

I do to. I will pray for him that he finds something of substance to fill the emptiness in his life.

Sorry to drift back to the first page, but two things...

#1.... what a great song!

#2 .....I never thought I would see reference to "givin head" on USAviation.com! :D

Thank You Dill:

Bob lost it completely on me today. He is confused, some days he loves me, some days he hates me. Funny thing, I couldn't care less which one it is, I just don't care.

I absolutely agree with your assessment that something is amiss when ones puts so much energy in a company they don't even work at. He puts in more effort about the U employees than most U employees do.

Anyway, thanks again for your insightful post.

Cav
Ditto Cav.........He appears to have some "issues".

--Ever hear the saying "Those who can't do, teach"?
I generally only lurk on this forum...but the bashing of PB to the point of saying he has "issues" shows the depths to which some of you folks will sink in attacking someone who doesn't share your point of view. This is a public forum--not your personal U employee posting forum--and thus PB and anyone else has the right to post his personal or professional opinions. The issue, as I see it, is that some posters can't handle his "tell it like is" style that frequently argues from both sides of the debate.

PB has not been shy about his opinions on unions...but he equally has commented on the trials and tribulations that U employees have gone through. And he has frequently been a tough critic of U management. You may agree or disagree with his postings...but to go into attack mode because he points out the lack of clout in unions today shows how shrill, desperate, and ugly some folks can be.

PB doesn't need anyone to defend him [especially not me since he got in my knickers a few weeks ago for calling him a "pax"]...but the crass behavior on this board toward folks who don't wear the union label needs to be pointed out.

Sounds like you may have some unresolved issues. I will pray for you too.

--Relax there is nothing wrong with a genuine concern for others.

(Ever notice people appear to drink more on the weekends?)

[especially not me since he got in my knickers a few weeks ago for calling him a "pax"]...

What's wrong with being a "pax"...sure beats writing the word out each time! ;)

I am to be polite disappointed in the tone here.
Polite or otherwise Bob, I'd say you're getting the blow torch treatment this morning...but hey, have a great weekend anyway...
I will have a great weekend Cav,

Not to worry I have a Nomex suit on. The Jim Jones reference really amused me. Comparing a wildly successful investor and fund manager, who arguably is one of the more creative finance guys around with a man who was a religous zealot with suicidal proclivities to me just shows how bankrupt of ideas many in Labor are today.

With less than 15% of the workforce currently in a union (That number drops to near single digits when you take out public sector employees) your ideas have been found to be wanting by the overwhelming majority of the working public. This is not my fault, it YOURS. So don't get all flamed up at me, I didn't lose 24% of the working public from the 60's until now. YOU DID! The lack of a strong labor movement is BAD for the country. But hey, I didn't make all of the bonehead moves that let my membership slip to the point that it has. YOU in organized labor did that all by yourselves.

You don't look to create Win-Win situations, you look to obfuscate, obstruct and cling to the old ways as your power base slips from you. In that respect I have little sympathy. It's to bad that a great many decent hard working folks will be on the street due to labor's leaders lack of creativity.
BOB DEAD ON ! But your tiring your fingers for some radicals will never ever change. ( Not to imply our friends are ) just statin an opinion !

[PS: I found it ironic and quite revealing in a previous post of yours on manners and politeness, you had to lead it off with blasphemy. I for one wish you would refrain from further blasphemy in your posts, as I find it offensive and it negates any good points which you may have had to offer.
Ummm He may not but I do I live it. Its no where near what you say it is. Its no worse than that of other struggling carriers. Most of which is facing reality not a bad ceo!

Why didn't you just stop reading, then, when the information you aasked for was posted.

If you don't like the way the boards are run, set your own up and run them however the hell you like.

In fact, why not give us your rendition of: "If I Ruled the World."
