CWA Passenger Service Empolyees union contract has NO attendances policy in it.Attendance control and discipline is solely set by management.

CWA still has two mainline jets a day the station stays mainline.The IAM kept catering in PHL

We all need to work together assist your co worker, Take care of the Paying Passenger do an honest days work for a FAIR wage.

Mgmt implements our bankruptcy agreement to end the Winston-Salem hiring freeze...
Following through on their commitment to CWA to end the INT hiring freeze, management announced today that there will be a 30-person Res new hire class beginning on October 24. This is welcome news and signals management’s intention to keep Winston-Salem as a viable and key res center. Per our CWA contract, INT must remain open and functioning for at least the duration of our contract (2012), but we also don’t want to see it shrink in size. We believe management’s bankruptcy court agreement with CWA to end the INT hiring freeze will mean that the center will not only remain open, but will remain a viable center with continuing opportunities for res agents.

If the Merger and Company fails it will be managements fault the unions do not run the company.Our productivity level is equaling or exceeding that of any major carrier in our industry.The CWA members have a choice unlike 1999 when the Company needed concessions.

I guess John John is pro Union ? thats ok but like all the crud that we hear from the Union it is distorted and not factual

WN most of the RES agents are in the 12.00 range and they just closed several call centers down many lost jobs

all above are in bankruptcy and will be forced to take severe cuts to emerge from said Bankruptcy.

Yes I deal with the Public on the Phone. And have done so for many years in several different industries.

IF your spouse and her friend just got hired at 38k py, why dont you join them after all it is $18.20 per ph. What is the overall package benifits/non rev ??

The only thing that anyone is trying to say here is that if you step back and look at the overall performance of the Unions in this industrie, you will find that the performance is not good at all. The only ones who have kept the same standards is the Union themself. God forbid if Jimmy Hoffa cant afford to gas up his Hummer.

Why would the CWA and IBT want to join together ?? I believe that THEY KNOW that the good people in Res and CSR have lost faith in their ability to keep the promises they made

Wow, 27 post later and not ONE specific example of you unions have done for you. What do you want to bet we can go another 27 with the same result?

Decent wage
Vacation
Medical and Dental Coverage
Grievance Procedure
401K match
A say in the workplace

Not being at the company's whim and have them change things as they please.

I can go on and on forever, but all you anti-unionist will never have a clue.

Do you think you have the 40 hour work week cause the company wants to give it to you?

Do you think child labor laws were enacted because the companies asked Congress to?

Unions are behind most major pieces of labor law the protects workers, management is most certaintly not.

And go look up labor law in North Carolina, you will find it under "Master and Servent" not Labor Law.

Well we are at post number 29 and still nothing specific and the last one one from someone who eats at the union trough. You would think he could site one example. I have all of the above benefits as do those at DL which is not union. I could not be more anti-union and would find another job before I paid union dues to the IAM goons, but to each his own.

Next.... Any body want to give ONE SPECIFIC example
