Nothing to ignore. I think it's pretty obvious that people's views will not be changed due the removal of the flag and the argument to remove it has nothing to do with that.

Just to be clear, I don't really care about the Confederate flag and it's association with racism. In history class, I was under the impression that this was the South's new flag as a nation. Maybe, I suppose that later some lunk-heads used it when they attacked minorities and now it can be associated with racism.

Here people fail to show respect for the flag of the United States, and nobody has an issue, but a flag used by a deranged killer is associated with racism, well we just have an issue with that???
