Yes, I provide the data on Perf, but the overtime data is in a password protected area of the website, and only applies to DCS. It won''t show what Maintenance and Cargo have budgeted/used.
For that, you have to go to View Direct or AutoTA.
A lot of the overtime we''ve been seeing is due to unexpected retirements more than RIF''s.
Retirements were hot and heavy in April. There were as many retirements in April as there were in January thru March combined... Year to date, there have been over 2400 people retiring, and I''d expect more before the summer is over. By comparison, there were just over 2800 retirements for all of 2002, and less than 1000 in 2001.
There was obviously no reason to offer an early out...
Another issue is sick time. We''ve seen a trend where junior people subject to furlough had more occurrences than people "above the line". There is also a bit of a spike leading up to May 1, since that''s when some workgroups started paying 50% for SK.
But we don''t have people who abuse sick time, right?
Anyone with Groupwise can email me for the chart...
