Using the Olympics to push the Gay Agenda.

Woah there skippy. You might want to know something about what you are talking about before you regurgitate such ugly stuff. My parents love me and wouldn't have me any other way. And yeah, I'm gay.

Congratulations...

Well I would hope they would love you, but one has to wonder if that was the priority result they had hoped you would turn out.  And I'm sure they would be even more thrilled if you brought them some grandkids.

No they do not.  Gays are not treated equally under the law as the KKK is.
Please cite how they are not treated equally ! Are you saying gay KKK members can get hitched?

Right. I am sure your parents came up to you and stated that they would not have you any other way but gay. There is a difference between accepting and wanting.

Gay marriage is nothing more than a liberal agenda to push the government to legitimize gay relationships. Gays think if they can get the government to legitimize their relationship the populace will have no choice but to accept the concept. It is nothing more than social engineering.

Gays complain they are targeted victims. The truth is gays go out of their way to draw attention to themselves. Sometimes when you draw attention to yourself, it is not good attention.

I would also accuse the gay population of trying to "brand" being gay. The libtard media has presented being gay as a lifestyle. They go out of their way to paint people that do not support it in the worst possible light. Again, social engineering.

I would like to hear your reply AdAstraPerAspera. I would like you to counter what I have said. Post valid logical reasons why you disagree, instead of the usual libtard quips.

I would also ask if you were raised Catholic. I ask because your name is in Latin. If you were raised Catholic then how does your homosexuality sit with your religious beliefs?

Do you not have any respect for established definitions of marriage? Do you have any respect for the cultural history and religious aspects of marriage (not just Christian)?

I await your response.

That's a lot of assumptions. Not sure why so many people are obsessed with procreation-- I think there are enough people in the world already. And there are children without parents I could always potentially adopt, of course. But anyway, my parents have always made it clear that they are proud of how I turned out and I'm grateful for the awesome job they did raising me and my brother.

"Gay lifestyle" is a nonsense term. There's no such thing as a gay "lifestyle." Working in the airline industry is a lifestyle. Being a politician or a celebrity is a lifestyle. There is no one single gay "lifestyle" that all must adhere to. Just ask Mizzou's Michael Sam, the SEC's Defensive Player of the Year if he lives a "gay lifestyle" as a football player.

What you call social engineering, I call a legitimate request to live and operate under the same state recognition, tax requirements, and legal codifications and social protections that you enjoy. Its just a matter of fairness and equity under the laws of our country, that's all.

Edit:

Gays complain they are targeted victims. The truth is gays go out of their way to draw attention to themselves. Sometimes when you draw attention to yourself, it is not good attention.

That makes about as much sense as blaming a rape victim because she wore a revealing dress. It's your choice to give anyone your attention. You are free to vilify anyone you choose, but did you know you are free to ignore them as well?

Yeah, I was raised Catholic. But as I have grown and matured my family and I realized that your faith is something personal and private, something to keep to oneself. I am grateful for the church teaching me to do good works, to have compassion and help others (particularly the needy) but my relationship with Jesus Christ (and anyone else's relationship, for that matter) is His business, not anyone else's, and shouldn't have to be justified to anyone. I wish more politicians got that. President Obama sure seems to get it. Other politicians, particularly conservatives, out of fear of inadequacy and insecurity, constantly feel the need to wear their faith on their chest like a bumper sticker... like an annoying teenage girl who brags that she is friends with a celebrity.

And speaking of the respect for the cultural history of marriage, how much respect am I supposed to have? You don't have to go too far back in the cultural history to find that it was a "crime against nature" to marry outside of your race. Am I supposed to have respect for that?

And the religious history of marriage is even worse. Biblical definitions of marriage include a husband and his slave, and a wife and her rapist (Deuteronomy 22:28-29). Oops, and there's that ugly part about mixing races again… (Ezra 10:2-11)

Seriously. You can't connect the dots on this? The KKK is allowed free speech and right to assemble.... Even though their views are not popular among the electorate. Gays are denied equal rights (14th amendment) because the electorate does not approve of their sexual orientation.

If you look at history the way a group is persecuted seem to have a common thread. Nyou make them out siders. You make them a threat. You make them different and then it becomes easier to deny that group equality (or worse).

By using the term "life style" they are using as euphemism for 'choice'. Their view is that since a person chose this life style it is OK to deny them equal rights since they can choose to not be gay. Curious how that logic is not applied to hate groups.

Seventeen states recognize marriage equality. The Fed is applying the standard nations wide. More advances have been made for marriage equality in the last year or two this have been made in decades. The fight by the religious zealots to deny equality to yet another group has been all but lost. I believe the next case in front of the SCOTUS will seal its fate.

I agree the "gay lifestyle" is a nonsense term. I was not submitting that as a reality. I am saying the MEDIA tries to brand being gay. They "advertise" a certain stereotype.

There is also the fact the libtard media tries to paint anyone that does not agree with their agenda as either a backwards, uneducated hillbilly or a religious zealot.

I appreciate your civility.

History has shown a repeated pattern of gays wearing out public tolerance. History ALWAYS repeats itself. It is just a matter of time. I guess you think gay tolerance is a new idea right? It is not.

So Gay's are not allowed free speech and the right to assemble? Since when?

The sodemites will have their fake marriage eventually. The homosexual movement is just a matter of time.  In the Christian religion it's longgg been prophesied this will come..."good will become bad and bad will become good" sort of sense.  Its just makes it that much closer to the reckoning day, it will all play out in the end.

Yes....but what will you do if, when you arrive at the gates of heaven, you are greeted by St Peter, Liberace and Rock Hudson? Will you pass on going in?

You sure do spend a great deal of time watching gay video and searching out beards for yourself.

I have my bases covered.  No matter what the liberal media movement does to try and de sensitize the nation into whats morally acceptable it will have no affect on those that stay true to the gospel teachings.
