What US Airways will be flying the heavies (temporary extra/charter flights) to the PHX (Phoenix Sky Harbor Int'l Airport) between late March and February 4th before prepare for the Super Bowl XLII at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, AZ on February 3rd?

Will US be able fly widebody jet go to PHX again since B767ER last visited to PHX in 1996 for the Super Bowl XXX (Pittsburgh Steelers and Dallas Cowboys)? Hopefully to see A330-300 first time?

I guess New England Patriots and Dallas Cowboys will be playing for the Super Bowl XLII unless if Dallas will lose NFC Divisional Championship then Green Bay Packers will play with Pats.

No offense to the OP but c'mon I HAVE SEEN way better English from hearing impaired folks...maybe we need to ensure compliance w/ the OP's writing skills by sending him back to college and Gallaudet University (Only Deaf College in the World) does not count.

Diamondbacks2004...if you enjoy doing some plane spotting at PHX Sky Harbor, Superbowl weekend is a great time for it!

I don't think US Airways will have any widebodies flying in, but you will get a chance to see tons of charter carriers and corporate jets galore. Who knows, maybe you'll get a chance to see John Travolta's 707 in the Qantas "V-jet" colors. It has been seen at Sky Harbor from time to time.

Whatever you do, I hope you have a great time. Things can get really crazy during Superbowl Weekend. I still remember when Tempe hosted Superbowl XXX like it was yesterday!

on a onther note. i remember ferring a 767 a few years back from clt. we were taking the university of pit football marching band back to pit .i think i saw a pic of the a/c parked at the old usairways gates in phx somewhere.
