US Airways Pilot Arrested

I think he did the right thing, he was concerned she was on his flight and was just checking for anything that might go boom, like the underwear bomber on on NWA/DAL 253 to Detroit. Remember safety first.

Oh you are such a funny man! HA HA HA. I guess if you don't grow up you don't understand this is a serious matter...

Waiting to hear from all the posters who defended him, what is your reaction now?
Exactly. I can hear it now........"He's a great guy, nice wife and kids and so much fun to fly with." I'd say "He's an idiot, got caught." Period. one year probation is a J-o-k-e! (And that is precisely what is wong with the so called Justice System in this country.)

I dunno, perhaps he is innocent but took a plea.

I doubt that. Had he been innocent he likely would have made an Alford Plea. Also note that it would up being only a plea on the invasion of privacy charge. Assuming the other charges were dropped, I'm guessing the DA didn't believe he he could convict on the child charges.

It is great to be able to poke at the frail bits of what is the fabric of many USAirways employees. The outcome is a lesson to all of us .it was only recently that one of our pilots allegedly took his own life. No one knows what triggers the brain to just go haywire. So be patient and lend an ear, be a good friend. All of you get out of your gallery seat and get into the bull pen...........................You my friends may be helped as we all try to reagin the balance of USAirways

Astro,

Do you think those convicted of a misdemeanor should serve time? How much? Where do we put them? In A Sherif Joe tent city? The answer is elusive don't you think?

We have no prision space mostly because of the US Government's insane war on drugs.

So Astro enlighten us with the solution!

Sticking a cell phone underneath a MINOR'S skirt and taking pics is not acceptable behavior, I hope you dont have a daughter.

And if he is going to be arrested the police and DA believe he has violated the law.

700, I know you know that you're beating your head against the wall trying to reason with those whose logic is completely situational. You see, if this had been a West pilot, then you wouldn't have to be arguing against a wall; they'd agree with you, but for entirely different reasons. To these two east pilot posters, a West pilot could be found guilty of something just because he is walking down the street. The mere allegations made by USAPA that 18 West pilots conspired to destroy the union was enough for these same east pilots to pronounce absolute judgment, even without any evidence of the deeds whatsoever. But, change the circumstances such that it's an East pilot caught red handed in a truly despicable act, well only then will you hear calls for due process and reservation of judgment. What's good about this thread is that the vast majority of East pilots would see this sad tale the same way the vast majority of West pilots. This thread is only useful for demonstrating how "out there" the two East posters defending their fellow East pilot really are.

The bottom line is that there are bad apples in every bunch.

If it requires going back a month of posts to bring this back to an East vs West thing, I really dont see the need to keep it open since its obviously run its course to the ultimate end in US pilot land.
Bring it back on topic without the E/W theme or it will be closed.
