The topic is the AA/US settlement agreement, not WT.

Those who can't stay on task on the topic will be booted from the forum.
 
if you think the topics go off of a course that has nothing to do with the topic, then report it to the mods and they can act.

It becomes a lot harder to draw that conclusion about something related to the actual business.

it is very easy to do with personal attacks.

The moderators have made it clear this forum will not deteriorate into personal attacks on members.

If everyone sticks to the topics at hand, there should be no problems. And if you don't think the responses fit with the topic, then speak up. And others will do the same.
 
does anyone know for sure if the federal judge in dc has to sign off on the deal or can the 2 airlines go ahead and complete the deal and close on dec 6 or 9th    secondly  what kind of things or announcemnts cld we see from dp and th on jan 7 pertainin to the settlement

The way it looks, Judge Kollar-Kotelly doesn't have to do anything.  If the DOJ withdrew the lawsuit, then there's nothing for the judge to rule on. I guess that's why they say, "settled out of court."
 
The bankruptcy judge had to approve since what he had previously ruled on had materially changed with the settlement.
