Bob, good one. I still remember the U flying pig incident..It really did happen didn't it?

I don't believe there is anyway for a Rez agent to look at a frequent flyer account when adding to a person's reservation to know to not allow her from taking a pet in the cabin...That was purely public relations....We don't see anything in a person's frequent flyer record saying not to allow a pet....Only name, address & telephone number....More false stuff from a manager...

Which is the obvious exception Mr. Smartypants.. however, you won't find some small yappy dog on a Southwest flight. Which is the point I intended to make the first time... So get over yourself.

Diverboy, are you trying to bait me? Or do you think tearing someone up in a forum is a good way to start the day?

If you want to make a point, I reccommend you simply make it.

Yes it did... I worked in IND Rez then, I printed out the PNR and have it in a scrap book. I also have the PNR complete with comments from the woman who flew Jethrojet from LGA to FLL via BWI that was asked twice to stop breast feeding her Chihuahua. I may have to scan that one and post it minus the name and such here sometime..... I'm sure someone else out there heard of that one too

Apparently it did! Airways to it's credit and detriment has always bent over backwards to accomodate it's elite flyers. So it's no surprise that the pig incident occurred.

The primary difference is that at least the person with with the "Service Pig" had an ASSIGNED SEAT, unlike the Turd Brown Bus with wings aka SWA!

Sounds like a little envy there, Piney. They sure are kickin your A__ now aren't they!! If US Air and the EE's had put that energy to better use, US might not be in this situation.

We had a similar incident occurred about 10 years ago. Aircraft had to return to the gate and take a woman off who was breast feeding a kitten. Freaked out the flt attendant and didnt blame her a bit for the reaction. :D
It was on a route we were competing with Peoples Express. Those folks carried anyone and everyone. At least when we cancelledc a flight..we tried as best as we could to get psgrs to thier destinations..PE used to throw up the cancell sign at the gate and the agent disappear.

what type of A/C was flying into SEA with the pig that had 200 PAX on board? I didn't think we ever put the 767 into SEA.
